Some beautiful night shots there sir! The city looks lovely and the trams are great. The zoo railway was pretty flash , and it was using axle counters for the signalling system! That's very high end and expensive! Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Cheers Gregg.

I've wanted a miniature railroad like this for awhile now, nothing like running an authentic Niagara (or "Northern" for you southern folk) 4-8-4 REAL steam loco! :D AND IT'S IN 15 INCH GAUGE! I bet I couldn't get it to run in the place where I live.. too many hills, companies, roads, and farms. Oh well! :/

Yes, what seems mundane today can be a treasure tomorrow. The SD40-2 comes to mind along with so much more of the railroad scene. Not that a ride on an executive train is ever mundane!

A time and a train not to be repeated. The engines are gone, Bernie is at rest (engineer) and CP has left the area (thankfully). Luckily, Andy Muller, Jr. has brought regularly-scheduled passenger trains into the area on his Reading & Northern system.

This was the beginning of a planned 23-day trip immersing myself once again in European railways. Unfortunately due to a health issue the trip was cut short and lasted only 2 days. Bummer.

The first set of tracks is right by where I grew up. If it was filmed a little higher you could see my house. Spent a lot of time as a kid watching trains there.
