I’m not sure I’m correct, but from what I’ve read the Ho 229 was never fully completed and all that was made/remains is a (possibly wooden) mockup of the cockpit section

If I'm not mistaken their was a flying prototype.

@@Jgg-Aceyes there was a complete version for testing only, made out of wood and most parts metal. The wood was intentional for being light weight, unlike tanks of the time which used wood as part of their prototype stages. This version was only fitted with fuel and no munitions which means it wasn’t combat capable.

Yes. With operation paperclip many German engineers and scientist were brought to USA. They also build the b2 with their knowledge, also the Saturn V Rocket and any jet engine were build with the knowledge of German scientists
