If we mirror the metaphysics of God that represents our soul ,we could attempt to encapsulate the illusion of sin as if it were real.

Who on The Way does not suffer disappointment? There are no definitive answers to lifes questions. Seeking an end to seeking, seeking that one great answer, this will manifest only in disappointment no matter what the creed or path I believe. As espoused in The Ten Bulls of Zen Buddhism.

Good subject. I rely upon the spirituality of Nichiren Buddhism to open up intuition as it teaches that since the buddha is within, one doesn't have to rely upon a guru to open the way.

So, I have just done something unusual with this recording, somehow I have it opened in two different windows and 3 minutes off for each's version of audio. So here I am being stupid listening to Pir Vir talking over himself at the same time, and then, !!! , as Pir would say I had an "ah ha" experience. I have listened to this one at least 4x in the past 4 days, in the background... and now I came to the realization that I should just bathe in his spiritual healing, grandfatherly storyteller glow, to the extent that it still comes through this medium and [wallah] it does. I sat back and just listened to his words crashing into each other, trying to imagine that my brain could understand these two tracks at the same time, but no way lolo. So I closed my eyes and just remembered. Remembered the great healing energy coming from him, every day, on top of the mountain. He loved it up there. Somet Bucher, where they burned the witches at 7000 ft 6 miles from Italy... Chateau Queyras, HAutes Alpes, France...He flew his eagles up there, often....when he was younger, imagine..... Then he would often use eagles examples in dialogues, plus the camp was called "Camp des Aigles " eagles. Both of his wives had very intense Eagle eyes..... really, Mary & Taj... Once he came into my supply tent alone and talked to me about eagles. I was astounded. Only my 2nd camp and first on staff... He also spent ages discussing physics, psychology, relationships, lolol., everything from soup to nuts spiritually, a real good " to die for " experience, and making many new deep friendships, spiritual family, not for everyone, "Sufism is not for everyone !" according to Pir's dad, who also said "We are not political" I am such a poor student, the worst, and now I have begun collecting other students, all female so far, and mostly 41-ish now... go figure, so much fun... forever.... My first students given sufi names are Murshida Kismet Ayesha Noor/Nur, former Princess now Queen..... She lives in Colo Springs. the most dangerous place in this hemisphere...

I just cannot stop having these playing in the background of my computer screen. OMGoddesses !!! Wow....... hello. Anyway, these activate REAL MAJOR memories and synapse tracks in my brain, that have been "lying dormant", as PVK sez.... It is so wonderful to return to 28 yr old consciousness and then year after year after year track this fellow, as a member of that spiritual village/family, with so many 1000s of others. wow... and the beat goes on. MUSIC R US.... Our major teaching methodology, { ohhhh the stories I must tell ASAP in a non-traditional autobiography in the 3rd person with footnotes and chapter heading paragraph hooks to die for, here's one. } " She was running down the sharply sloping street in the Left Bank of Paris as he tried to keep up. She was laughing, sometimes screaming, as we passed all the normal locals, who didn't seem to care or notice our happy commotion, other than to avoid being crashed into by us charging down toward the Seine's interesting banks, views, vendors and Paris vibe herself, [to die for.]..... Her sufi name was "Maya" Beatrice Nadal, from Boreauxdeau [footnote one], his very first [well no, there were 2, it was a tie... sufi named 1st Sarfarez later Purusha Osborne, [RIP 1982, she passed quickly, as did Iman Ibrani Kiss, author of 7 Women, in a head on south of Santa Fe, sortly after arranging for a massive 3 week leader's camp that he would apply successfully to be the camp director, logistics only, ] She was once keeper of the children at the abode during pir's camp and was not able to do the sessions. Pir gazed at her admiringly once while passing. We blew the phone budget during the World Symposium on Humanity...10 days April 79 Wembley & Glastonbury,] He had met her also at the same 2wk camp where he had met Maya. His first 2 authentic "sufi" girlfriends. Purusha told him that the sufis used to be known as "the sexy sufis". oh well... and well, yes... laters [Footnote 1: PVK defined Maya as the hindus do, illusion...] She/Illusion took him to the movies and Notre Dam, where the powerful air polluting incense drove them back outside. It was a beuatiful late winter early spring day in 79 while he was working as the asst to Dame Brenda Brett, who ran the symposium, and I was tasked to find Didier Duplange. He would later visit Notre Dam many times, since he was often in Paris in those years after leaving the USA & Army 6 yrs as a missile , usually passing through toward the Alps Camp where they had met. More than a decade later he attended a lower down Italian alps camp where she was also, but he did not meet her, somehow. interesting. anon to be continued

Soon , a year before my initiation and a few months after discovering Hazrat Inayat Khan's message vols, I had a "travelling at the speed of light" authentic vision, on the night of Jan 19, 1978, with 5 levels many stories etc. I sat with Pir for yrs in the Alps for 2 summer months at a time, at least, luckily being able to attend all the lectures on staff as the time-keeping bell-ringer.... Such amazing times, Pir would often speak of wanting to do a retreat just on light.... My first practice given to me by Sheikh Rabia Joyce Purcell, M.B.E, on Easter Sunday morning, at wondrous Barton Farm, Bradford on Avon UK, after giving me the 3 names to choose from: Quddus, Ariel, & Robin the Goodfellow., was Ya Noor, or Nur, uncreated light..... we spent much time doing light practices, to say the least, on top of a 7000ft Mountain 6 miles from Italy in the French Alps.... Early morning bringing in the light, ultra violet, into the chakras, etc.... I would like to just keep this playing in the background of my daily life so that I can reactivate the 28 yr old synapsis of this deteriorating brain lolol.... For a normal 2 week retreat translated by Pir V real time into English, French, or German He would go through the enlightenment practices of all the major religious traditions, for a few days each one. There would usually be 3 two-week silent retreats, very powerful. Many friends.....

Fascinating! What a wonderful experience to be physically with the man. It must have been transformational and really intense. Since 1994 I've been "spiritual" in the sense of having various numinous experiences both with drugs and without. Hindu mystics mainly have grabbed my attention. I was totally wrapped up in a big cult based in NYC for 5 years and listening to this guy helped me to find the courage to weave my way out of the "Guru trap" without abandoning God. It must have been deeply engaging to be able to be with Pir Vilayat personally. I live in Canada and never felt the need to see Vilayat Khan although I'm near upstate NY. Thankfully his voice and teachings remain on places like KZbin for all to hear. But what a wonderful thing to be able to have been with him personally. God bless you. I'm sure you were deeply blessed in countless ways. His teachings continue to amaze me. He has such sophistication spiritually speaking...Such modern insight. Not just another "guru" stuck in an old tradition but a very creative teacher. The way he is able to distill the essence of it all and explain it so well is fascinating. It wouldn't be a stretch at all to consider him perhaps the greatest modern exponent of Eastern mysticism who actually lived his teaching. Profound stuff! Thanks for writing all of this. For sharing. Multi blessings to you friend.

I spent decades of my life listening to him on French & Italian mountaintops, and now my sufi khanqua homeborn Boston is screaming at me to find out "What did Pir Vilayat teach !!!???." I have tried often to answer her, lol, but I just told her to listen to these 3 different one hrs ish youtube videos..., secrets and all . So now she can spend years with him and do her homework. LOLOL This stuff is the most rewarding ecstatic light & love filled spiritual work you might do this year imho, just keep him/this youtube, running the background of whatever you are doing in our bz lives... And part of your brain will be hearing this........ intellectual healing central xox
