HD I disagree, although you can't beat the classics, the show now has better quality, commentary, and better competitors. Drew is still pretty consistent, although it's a shame you can't see the boot camp episodes.

ANW is super inconsistent quality wise. S10 sucked, then S11 was one of the best, and the political crap in S12 ruined it. S13 has been meh so far.

This is the ANW I like. Not tons of mediocre athletes trying out and failing miserably. The best of the best try out. There's even a boot camp to prove that you have what it takes. I bet atleast half of the people who try out these days couldn't get past boot camp.

yeah. but now there are like thousands of people that want to compete and are good, so there might as well be an american nw rather than having 10 people that fought their way to make to the japanese version. I liked the intensity and unpredictability of boot camp tho.
