Fun fact about haori (and other Japanese clothes) is that they’re designed to be completely unstitched to be cleaned, so all of the fabric can be flat. (I think having a gap at the underarm is also by design, so you can see a little of the lining there, but I might be mixing my garments up as it’s been a while since I’ve made one)

I remember when the switch online gameboy color games came out and I was struck with quite how washed out everything was. I thought it was my TV, but seeing you swap over to the gameboy player like that it's like night and day. Also, if you fancy getting homebrew running on your gamecube, you can get improved gameboy player software that still uses the original hardware and the vaseline isn't there.

I feel like if Flimbo's Quest ever got a remake for the Switch or something like that, this should absolutely be the title theme or ending theme. It really does sound like something that would be in a modern update of the game.

I love how you fast forward or edit out your efforts to solve the Simon Says puzzles 😂😂😂😅 Also, i had no idea you could use the odd potion to turn invisible and avoid the "trial by fire"(US translation) room altogether. You can also steal the items in the town and wizard guild shopswithout paying and take the food from the cat and the goblin room(the one that says "don't touch the food).

The Simon Says puzzles are the worst in the game imho. The one at 22:15 is the worst followed by the ones on level/floors 4 and 6.

Corvids like crows, magpies, jackdaws, etc are super smart and they also hold a grudge. I remember my parents' cat attacked a baby magpie once and for like a year after that the parents would make a lot of noise and get up in his grills whenever he went outside.

The squid model actually isn't unique to the dub, it already existed on the game disc but was for a different monster that's only seen in the Eternal Corridor. So the dub just doubled it up and made this weaker version now appear earlier and take Asha's spot. It was a pretty good change and went completely without question cos the game already has plenty of monsters that get repeated with slight recolours. Also interesting that the sequel chose then to be the basis of the Kalma design and be the new main villain. I wonder if they picked this monster in particular because it'd had this dub change, or it's just a coincidence?
