I agree with other comments. Why did you keep driving when visibility is so bad. Around the 2 minute mark the car you were following stopped in a queue of traffic that had their hazard warning lights on. You turned into the left hand lane and drove past them all despite the almost non existent visability.

They stopped, because of the downed tree. And good thing he didn't stop, as with all severe storms, stopping where there are more trees is never a good idea.
