@@annepercival7814 yes, you can - I’ve seen other artists do that but I’ve not found it to be essential and I don’t love the intrusion of the tape onto the side I’m working on. 🔆🌸

This is fabulous! I admire your creating paint from dirt and your own charcoal! There's a cave not far from my home that gives off red oxide dust. I'm determined to collect and experiment/play. Thank you for the inspieation!

@@lindablumer18 hi Linda - I stitched the 2 ‘signatures’ of paper to the cover, then glued (PVA type) to the decorative sheets onto the inside front and back covers. Is that the question you were asking?

I have made many stitch journals but not one using this format. I love your art and it will influence this stitched and fabric collage book.♥

The project is beautiful, but with all these types of books they have no “signal.” or signage as to the time you’re referring to. If I found this book 50 years from now I’d have no idea its importance and relevance. As an artist of the 21st century-romanticism you have a “responsibility” to convey a message that identifies it as an important piece of history, which it is.

Thanks Chris. Yes, I did one using mainly watercolours with some acrylic ink. It was a lot of fun. Good paper is the best starting point!
