Could you feel the bass in your chest? I listened to a pair of classic phantoms and I could feel the bass when they played this song. I’m just wondering if one is enough to give the same effect
@HifiloungeCoUk2 жыл бұрын
One would give you a similar performance but obviously with 2 you are doubling up the power so you would feel it more with 2, you could always start with one and add another later if you felt you needed more.

Hello, can you give me some advise on a certain point, namely, I'm planning to buy Martin Logan ESL loudspeakers in the near future. I am exactly wondering between 11a and 13a. My listening room is more or less the same size as in the movie (I saw the size of Your room in another movie). I have chosen a different type of power supply, because my power plant are two Cambridge Audio AZUR 851W. Going to the point, due to the fact that I have a choice, is it worth going to buy 13, or will 11 be enough? I realize that each ear is different and the acoustics of each room is different, but considering the size of the room, what better to choose. I am asking because the loudspeakers will be a big expense for me, and I am wondering whether to make more effort with the budget? On the one hand, I would like to not regret not having decided on 13a, and on the other hand, will it not be an excess of form over content, and is it still possible to control such a column in a room of this size? Best regards and congratulations on the beautiful equipment :)
@HifiloungeCoUk2 жыл бұрын
Hi Sebastian, thanks for your message, if the budget will take it then I would go with the 13A's as for me the it is all about the panel size, the 11A's are excellent and are probably the sweet spot in the range but the bigger panel on the 13A's does give better dispersion and a bigger soundstage and if you have a room similar in size to our demo room then they will absolutely sing, you could even consider the 15A's in a room of that size, all are good options but to answer your question I would go with the 13A's, Enjoy once you have them.

@@HifiloungeCoUk Thank you very much for the answer :) I also wrote to you via your website, but this answer is 100% sufficient :) Thank you again for the hint and I think that next year I will praise my feelings after the purchase :) 15's are definitely beyond mine financial reach, but for 13 I'm ready to stretch my budget a bit ;)

This is one of my favorite Gt40's (very close second behind P/1074) i've always found it amusing that the Ford museum bought one of the post Shelby light weight John Wyer cars for their collection..... P/1075 and P/1074 where both ran by JWR as privateers (Ford never had sponsor livery's on the works cars and Gulf was John Wyers sponsor going on to back all his 917 win as well ) and the story goes this was John Wyer thumbing his nose at Shelby's claim the British couldn't fix the Gt40.
