For me, the core of Magnum was Tony, Bob and Mark. Mark joined Magnum in 1980 and he was a integral part of the band sound for so many years. Wish Mark, Micky an Richard (three former magnum players) all the best with Kingdom of madness. Hope to see them live.

The way i see it, blackmore seems to dump vocalists who earn a bit of the limelight . It seems he wants all the limelight for himself.

In my opinion is Tony Clark the only rock musicians from the the 70s and 80s who's last 10 abums are better than the 10 first.

Wow. What came over Bruce? He hates that song. Which really sucks for those of us who love it. I understand the lyrics aren't great but the music more than makes up for it. As a drummer I love the drum track. Maybe add it to next Maiden tour Bruce?

It's hard to write new material that holds up to the older stuff. The last 7+ albums they made were on repeat in my opinion. Same song melodies, same drum comp, repeated stuff almost directly taken from songs of their own done before. Nothing is as good as the albums from "On A Storytellers Night" up until "Sleepwalking". Still a band that kept at it for a very long time. CREDS for that. Also they wrote about stuff that actually matters all the way through their career. Not som stupid BS that most bands just keep on repeat lyric wise.

No one has an ego. These tours we see now are for money. The people that have had great success and income need more. Maintaining a standard of living at the top is not easy. LOOK at the price of tickets. Most are out priced. It is sad that those that gave us great music are now doing shows in venues that many High School Bands perform in. We all love the talent and music. But many of us are struggling. My wife is terminal with copd. She made TOO much money, so when she gets home to live life out we are on our own. People that have nothing get everything for free. We spend 20% on property tax 10% on home insurance,15 percent on Etna insurance 10 percent on Medicare. 15% on food. and 30 percent on incontinent depends for my wife. The American Dream. And we are not in it. A stranger paid to have our dog euthanized two weeks ago. We are just one couple of millions who are suffering. We paid for our home. If we had not we would be on tour also. That's why Mark's Kingdom Of Madness group focuses on the classics from the Kingdom Of Madness album (1978) through Rock Art (1994).
