I have that I just found such amazing candid photos of her taken in 1975 by her friend Albert Elia (along with the negatives of course!)

it also seems as if humanity is about to loose history as we know it and started the age of perpetual presence ( just as long as we don't run out of the resources to power that machinery ?)

I am just in total awe - having seen the beginning of digital representation in a book in the library of my school in Berlin / West Germany in August of 1987 , which was not even in the photography section but the metallurgy department. It depicted bottle shaped objects made from all kinds of everyday materials such as glass, cloth, but then also moon dust. A few pages later American tanks showed up in battle formations simulating modern warfare. It seems as if all the conflicts in the world started for me with opening this book, I went back to the darkroom and never looked at the book again.

"... sometimes entirely fictional" isn't that the narrative of humanity altogether ( congrats on your work ! )

Another excellent talk in this remarkable event that's opened my mind to, among other things, the significance & complexity of the collision of A-eye with human intellect. The former cannot replicate the latter despite what AI moderators, bizdev types, & Technogarchs may say.

Excellent lecture...from the practitioner's viewpoint. As a consumer of images (like everyone) I want to know as much as the maker will tell me about how what I'm looking at came to be...chemical or digital, human or machine or hybrid, art or science, etc. Who's behind the curtain?

This technique is great!! I'm an art student and researching ways to create art by being sustainable and i think this is a great way to start and be creative! I would like to learn more about it's longevity, like how long does the prints preserve its original colour , or are there ways to make it permanent/long lasting? If you could provide me more information about it i will be really grateful 😊. Thank you

Ok, this is two years old, but maybe I am lucky and get an answer 😅 I am an Artist from Germany and in the moment incorporate cyanotype processes into my art. Now I just saw this video, never heard of this and find it amazing. It could give my art pieces another layer… or color… and I will definitely give it a try. But now to my question: since this process works with UV light bleaching the chlorophyll (I would assume it has something to do with oxygen getting released), those pictures should not be very stable and would bleach away after a short while, when being exposed to (sun)light. Is there any way to stabilise them and make them uv resistant? And is there any problem with the organic matter becoming moldy and growing some pretty fungi? In any way, I thank you for your great video and will now dive into your other videos. Chris

I am a cockney but moved to Elswick in 1984. I married a girl from Kenilworth Road. The photograph with the boy holding the bottle of milk. The skinhead in the leather jacket is my brother-in-law. His name is Thornton McLaughlin and he still lives in Elswick. These photos show Elswick exactly as I remember it when I moved there. I knew poor people in London but I had never come across such poverty and hopelessness. I am glad that I experienced it. My son was born in Newcastle General and he is 38 now. Tish has a real talent and this is just the type of photography I enjoy.

The anthotype provess is very cool. I've used it to produce paper and glass negatives (if you use pure alcohol, ypu can coat a glass plate if you put a layet of egg albumin or collodian on itblike youd do to prep a photographic wet plate. Preserving a positivd image is best served by digitally photographing the results.

Tanya Clarke Game 1. Dr. Nicole Brennan - Dead Space 2 2011 - 2023

Happy Birthday Tanya Clarke. UR beautiful. Dead Space 2 was incredible. Best horror game. And Dear Space Remake is super awesome. Love it. The original one is good, I watch & played all Dead Space movies & games. Seriously! Nicole is beautiful. To think, that she was still alive... and that really wasn't Nicole. Anybody like Isaac, loses someone they care and love... they're gone. Nicole was dead. That only y the Marker was using Isaac. Its affecting his mind... in Dead Space 2, Isaac was fighting his nightmares. Its a good thing, he didn't fall for those Illusions of Nicole. She was using him. Nicole said she loved Isaac. Only he said was the video log- its not true, its a lie. I hate to say it. Issac needs to let Nicole. She's not worth it. I do, miss her. Its complicated. UR amazing Tanya. Supported. May the Peace be with u Nicole Brennan. From Harlingen Texas. February 2, 1972 February 2, 2024 through February 2, 3024
