There’s another early live version of this song definitely performed with the red house painters. It’s also not a high quality recording but still is possibly the best live performance I have ever heard and just shows how damn tight that band were when they played together. I am looking for it again since losing my music library but not having any luck. This version is the closest I have found so far so thankyou for the upload.

thanks for the comment. i love this song a lot and remember it being a standout that night. unfortunately i'm not a bootleger or anything so this was the one and only time i recorded a show. I used my mom's handheld tape recorder for it. 90s tech. too stressful for me. it felt so illegal. I loved this album so much. What happened to this band?? I know the drummer played with Mark Kozelek's bands. The ladies...poof vanished. This song, Barely Human and Capital T are three of my very favorite songs. The single version uploaded here is a little different (and IMO better) recording than the album version.
