Yes sir it can. It further states that if the broadcaster goes against the guidelines or the established authority is not satisfied, their equipment can be seized without prior notice

@@abhimanyu289 Brother, read the bill carefully, Not a single Word is written in its guidelines that action will be taken against whoever speaks against the government, but it is clearly written that whoever speaks against the country and will want to incite a riot then established authority check the activities and there is option also to send notice first ,if creator still create fake news then authority take necessary Action. Brother there are no rules and regulations on KZbinrs if they spread fake news. and This Law is not controlled by BJP , any political party can Use that authority to stop fake news about that party .

Almost scared and severely disappointed in some of the answers. While the current political situation is disappointing, the questioning of the very basis of democracy in India and the parliament are unfortunate. Such views are half the reason such political environment is made. Democracy is messy and in a large country like India, possibly even more messy. But there are number of successful democracies that have striking similarities with the Indian political organisation. It is not the political system, but the people and their attitudes that are causing such issues. We allowed this to happen and must take responsibility and try to address the issues rather than bashing the entire system.

We completely agree and that’s what drives our work to build trust in institutions and faith in our democracy. We were encouraged by the last responses that we heard, but in the spirit of democracy, we also have to encourage free speech, even when it challenges values we cherish.

Quite a good presentation. But the fact remains there is a need for enormous infrastructure and more liberal outlook to make public consultations more effective. And the fact also remains a large majority of people don't even care to engage with these issues due to lot of reason like hopelessness at the situation of our country,feigned indifference and maybe even lack of patriotism and lack of time. More people have to participate in public consultations alongside the improvement of infrastructural facilities for the same. Thanks.
