Thanks for the video, I like the scheme a lot and this is definitely motivating me to get my Isengard done for the new edition.

Did you just prime over the washed minis without removing the wash paint?
@trancehammer6 ай бұрын
At first I wasn’t sure what you meant by “wash” but I realized that’s how the kickstarter miniatures are. My game is the retail version so they were just gray plastic.
@gerlonggaul6 ай бұрын
@@trancehammer ouww they have the only plastic version one? Yeah too bad they come already washed

Hey, what colors did you use for bamboo? Was that Pallid Bone? Thanks!

Hey! Thanks for checking it out! The banner is pallid bone and the arrows in the base are Hardened leather.

Nice video. Have you noticed, at all, that contrast and Speedpaints can really destroy brushes? I had the hairs on two brushes spread out like a tulip. I switched to using Taklon synthetic brushes and so far so good.
@trancehammer Жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching! I have noticed that if you don’t keep them clean the bristles get really stiff and/or spread out. Of course that happens with any paint but since contrasts are runny I think they get into the ferrule of the brush much easier. I’ve heard that “The Masters” brush cleaner really helps keep the shape, which I still need to try out.

I haven’t tried Taklon. I’ll have to check them out!

I remember back around 2006 how I really wanted this Uruk-Hai berserk and I begged the shop to paint it for me. Of course they politely told me being a kid that they are only selling the resin model kits not painting them.

Never really thought about it but they should offer painting services. I appreciate you taking the time to watch!

Thank you for showing how the painting is done - makes one appreciate the work people have to spend on this art. Also this Uruk-hai is so called scout version? I was having conversation with my friend about it (we both went on a huge nostalgia train about Lord of the Rings stuff) and we agreed that Amon Hen group that was hunting hobbits had to be lightarmoured to be able to travel fast for long distances meanwhile the Helm's deep were the heavy duty armor ment to endure storming the fortress. @@trancehammer

@@Benetkabc2nd I believe this one is the warrior. There are some with bows as scouts. This particular box has both scouts and warriors which I plan on painting.

Awesome speed paint, a little suggestion would be to possibly do more cuts when repainting the same colours on each model after fully showing the first and if you can get a good quality mic besides that though awesome video and great thumbnail drew me in, I’m glad your video popped up in my recommended
