It always makes me especially happy if people enjoy this particular video because it was the largest amount of work out of all the ones I’ve done so far. 😅 On the video, under Bruce Campbell’s picture, I actually have a blurb saying “Supernatural's producers originally wanted Bruce Campbell to play present-day John Winchester. See video description reference #4.” And then in my excessively long video description under reference 4, there’s a direct link to the part of that Inside of You video where they talked about that. I figure not everyone reads those little sidebar blurbs though - understandably so, since they could be staring at Jared and Jensen instead. 🤣 I had actually hoped the notes would be unobtrusive so people could ignore the ones they weren't interested in. Until I did the research for this video, I hadn’t known about that. Actually, I have to admit I hadn’t even known who Bruce Campbell was! I’ve learned all sorts of random pop culture things while doing these videos. It’s hard to image someone other than JDM in the role, but I guess we might be saying the same about Campbell if things had gone that way.

Ha, and then when I checked my video description to make sure the link was really there, I noticed I had a typo saying he was asked to play “present-day John Campbell”. Thank goodness that same typo wasn’t in my video itself, because I couldn’t change that! But I CAN (and did) fix my video description. I’m glad you brought it up!

@rose_mnor No worries, I definitely don't expect many people to notice or read all that! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, it was actually the very first Creation con they attended. They had attended a few other conventions or convention-like things before this, but this was one of their first. I think this was the chain of events: * They both attended Paleyfest in March 2006. * Jared attended a multi-fandom Grand Slam convention in LA a few days after Paleyfest. * Jensen attended the first Asylum convention in the UK in May 2007, which included actors from both Supernatural and Smallville. * Jensen attended the San Diego Comic-Con in July 2007. (Jared was supposed to attend too, but he'd been filming until early that morning and missed his flight.) * And then there was this one!

He is! I love how much energy and playfulness he puts into the Q&A’s. The format is partly to blame for fans not being prepared once they got up to the mic, especially the first couple. Jensen’s solo panel had been directly before Jared's, so the fans got in line with a question for him but then he was gone by the time they got up to the mic. When the first fan said "I wasn't expecting the switch", I should have put up a sidebar note explaining what had happened, but I failed to think of it back when I did this video. A lot of the other fans were probably in a similar situation but did a better job of coming up with a question on the fly, or they had the foresight to prepare questions for both of them. I loved the way Jared helped make it a humorous situation by doing his Jensen imitation. I was frustrated by the fan later on though, who’d had plenty of time to rethink her question, and whose question was perfectly relevant for Jared anyway. I can understand being disappointed that her favorite wasn’t there anymore for her to talk to, but there was no need to tell Jared that.

Haha, yes, he seemed to do that often! There was another early con, I think LA 2008, where he pointed out the various articles of clothing he was wearing and which season Sam wore them in. If I had access to an entire wardrobe designed for a fictional character but that fit me perfectly, I’d probably take advantage of that too. I hate shopping. 🤣

I hadn't seen Ten Inch Hero before, so when I originally watched this video I didn't really understand what he was talking about. I had fun researching it and finally seeing his "little dance". It was a great improvisation!

Haha, yes, it was funny to see him struggle with this question (and a similar one in CHICON 2008) when those of us who have seen the later videos could have answered it for him. 😂 I kind of think the answer he gave in this video was probably the more serious and true answer, though. I’m sure he really does find bears scary, but I think he probably also uses that answer because it’s way funnier, especially when Jensen is there to tease him about it, so it works better for a panel like this. I’m guessing you saw the video where Jared and Jensen talk about Jared’s Scare Bear app?
