I would say, “ not to chime in” but I do mean to. And not to start a massive thread of comments. I will say my peace and leave it. @Chris Your attitude and self entitlement of passing judgement is the exact reason why people don’t want to come back. Just like the Pharisee’s. They were so stuck on church tradition and passing judgement that in the end, they crucified Jesus. If Jesus is unconditional love, and can forgive. How are you able to pass judgement being a mere human and condemn someone for their reasoning for moving on. I currently attend a UPC church and have had judgement passed on me before multiple times, leaving some pretty deep scars. Quite frankly, it’s none of your business, it’s not your place, nor will it ever be to wonder why he made the decision he did. If you consider yourself a Christian “ Christ like” why don’t you try and strive to be more Christ like and just love people? Love them where they’re at and see what YOU can do to help them in their journey. Because ultimately we’re trying to get to the same place. If you’re not benefiting this man’s journey with God then just pump the brakes on being a keyboard warrior. Michael, I’m nobody to you. But I’m proud of you for doing your best. I’ve followed you for awhile, your skills are incredible. Keep loving God, walk with him, trust him. Praying for your journey my friend ✊🏻
