Cutting bone is not good , bone will grow and again problem

Oh how I wish there was a surgical procedure that could restore mobility to a spine with severe ankylosing spondylitis... even just in the neck...

Does it matter if the bracket is screwed in straight? I've seen some doctors screw them in a little bit crooked (when looking at the xrays).

I was supposed to have this surgery in the late nineties I'm finally have it scheduled for August 29th 2024 which is tomorrow and I am petrified scared to death I'm praying technology has advanced so much that I don't have to worry about being paralyzed anymore and then I'll be able to walk away from us y'all keep me in your prayers will keep you all in mine

I’m 72 years old and I had my right leg amputated below the knee in March 2023 but I developed an infection caused by insufficient blood flow in the artery. That led to a second amputation above the knee in June 2023. I healed very well and my surgeon cleared me to be fitted for my prosthetic leg in late July 2023. I did a lot of research on the internet on how to get ready to learn to walk with my new leg. It’s August 2024 and I still using my walker but I’m trying to teach myself to use a cane. Life is pretty good as an amputee. Praise God !!!!!!!🙏🇺🇸✝️

sir few year back my femar fracture. that time nailRod fitting in my femar. I slipped on the floor ,nailrod broken. New Nailrod dynamic hole single screw fitting in surgery after surgery knee swelling in last 8 months.. after consult another doctor , bone scan result surgery fail and knee patella possion change & tibila bone also fracture.,,,,????? I have always wondered why the Bone is not plugged, and the cut edge is left sharp, must cause constant pain on the pulled over flesh?

I just had this surgery, April 15th. Went well. I am 46. I feel better now. The pains were unbearable.

Just had this done 6 hrs ago. I’m staying the night to help with the pain

I had C5-C6 done in 2019. At the time C6-C7 was showing signs of herniation as well but we (doctor and I) decided to leave the 6-7 alone. Now on May 13, 2024 i had to have 6-7 done. The doctor temoved the titanium plate over 5-6, removed the disc between 6-7, installed cadaver bone, then put a plate over 5-6-7. So far (two days post op) i feel sore, but the pain meds control it. I plan to be back to working from home next week. Back to driving a couple weeks after that. If it goes like my firat surgery, i wont have any issues except the slight range of motion reduction. I put the surgery off for 11 years for the first one. The doctor told me “you will know when it’s time”. The “time” came when i began experiencing loss of strength in my arm. If the only issue was pain, i would probably still be dealing with it because it wasn’t debilitating pain.

I’m an above knee amputee on my left leg so it’s cool to see what happens. Even though it was 15 years ago now and I’m 27 now. I was too young to really understand what happened. So it’s cool to see the animation

In 2019. A teen male teen named loren schauers also had an above limb amputation on hos right arm he was in a terrible forklift accident at a construction company. He moved outta tgecway of tge cars SOS he wouldn't get hit. Then at tge spot where he was , tfe ground crumbled underneath him making him fall 50 feet to tge floor with tge forklift he'd been using crushing his whole lower half and also his right arm above tge elbow

That's why safety signs are there for a reason. Safety signs also save extremities.

How will this affect the mobility of the wrist after the surgery?? Will we be able to move it freely or will it become immobile??

I should have stayed curious. I have this surgery coming up and this does not help the nerves 😭😭
