3 tips: 1 don't think about any errors along the drive... stay positive. 2: fix your Manoeuvres if needed until you're satisfied. 3: drive according to lane markings and signs don't ne afraid to change the route if you're in the wrong lane. All the be best you'll be fine

Lots of people will just walk Out without looking expecting the driver to be paying attention, big payout if they get hit on a crossing 😮
@gavinspiby8304Ай бұрын
Fair play she should have stopped
@Bobrogers99Ай бұрын
The fact that she was dressed in black didn't help. It looked like she had just arrived at the crossing, so she was delayed only a few seconds. Yes, the driver committed a serious fault, and it illustrates that anything that distracts the driver, be it a cell phone or the person next to you, is a bad thing. The examiner shares in the blame.
@PattoeАй бұрын
You're so wrong. If you cannot see a person in broad daylight waiting at a zebra crossing you should not be driving, regardless of what they are wearing. She had stopped completely and was waiting and looking at the car. It was clear she was going towards the crossing and the driver should have started slowing before she even stopped walking. It's the DRIVERS responsibility alone to make sure they are NOT DISTRACTED. Not the passengers responsibility, therefore blame cannot be "shared". The examiner is not going to tell the driver to be quiet and focus because a normal passenger would likely not tell the driver to be quiet and focus. The examiner is simulating real world conditions by allowing the student to do what he will do with any other passenger. This driver could be driving with passengers in their vehicle, even kids, as well as with other distractions. If they cannot keep focused with passengers then they should not be driving. Drivers have a lot of responsibility and liability. Mistakes like this can easily be lethal. Also I wear a high vis vest and also a headlamp and I get drivers failing to stop at Zebra crossings for me. It doesn't matter what you wear if the driver is not looking they can not see.
@rendezyt27 күн бұрын
@@Pattoe Bro, driving to DVSA standards is different from driving casually with family and friends. If the examiner starts trying to talk chit-chat to me I'm just going to tell him and her I'll answer after the test. You are there to focus and concentrate and pass not be distracted. The examiner is not paying for the student's test so why are they eager to to talk to students? Correct me if I am wrong but the highway code doesn't talk about causal conversation.

Watford failed my daughter on pulling out of parking on the left hand side and not looking properly over her left shoulder before pulling out. The road was completely empty mirrors were checked and right shoulder and quick glance on left hand side round the shoulder. But the examiner said she did not look at the blind spot. Really it is a numbers game for them. You can't challenge just have to such it up. Very unfair system.

The key sign to notice on the yellow board was at 0:09 where it says the road narrows on both sides and the hump bridge sign, even if he/she didn't see the width restriction immediately. That was signal to slow down. Shame, hope the student passes next time.

Thanks for the video. It looked like the student was "sidegating" the car to her right at 17:24. What I mean by that is from the video she should have been nearer to the give way line before entering the roundabout in order to improve her visibility. It seems she went forward because the car to her right went forward rather than being able to see properly to her right, which I saw someone do at another real driving test at Hither Green on a roundabout and they failed (basically they went because the van in the lane next to them entered the roundabout ). But if the student was nearer the give way line they would have seen better to their right for approaching traffic. But I may be wrong.
@a4medАй бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to comment. thats a good observation you made. Due to the camera angle its difficult to see the whole situation in this video. the view is very clear from where she was waiting (in real life not seen in the video). What you mentioned is absolutely correct if she couldn't see I will always tell the student you cannot go unless you can clearly see and make your own decision.
