You hit the nail on the head. I’ve been stationed in Alaska for almost four years and I AM DONE. I am tired. I got my masters and second bachelors degree while enlisted and I am so thankful. The things I have seen and heard have left me with a bad taste in my mouth. I’m grateful for the bonds I’ve made but I have never been more ready to break free from some of these leaders who supposedly care. On a side note retired SMA Dailey came and spoke and said no beards because the American people like and expect the clean cut military appearance. He said now if it’s religious or shaving profile that’s fine. That rubbed me the wrong way. It’s always about the image and show .
