I find it interesting no one discussed intersectionality,. For example every panelist talked about diversity and inclusion, however not a single person on that panel was a POC. No one addresses how deaf/blind/autistic POC are excluded from the conversation of accessibility.

Adding onto ticketing….ticket options in the front rows that are not $$$$$$. Many of us who are disabled, our only income is SSDI, which makes it IMPOSSIBLE to attend Broadway theater, unless you want the “nosebleed” seats on the aisle, and then we can’t see anything.

That's why they changed it between the workshops, when the album was recorded and when it opened on Broadway. Pretty much this entire song was rewritten.

No offense, but if you still haven't raised the money then how/where are you rehearsing? Your Kickstarter page says that you still need to raise the rest of the money by June 12th (the actual day of the Tony Awards), which is confusing because the production would need to load in today or tomorrow and go through camera blocking at the Beacon in order to be ready in time for the Tony Awards... Something's fishy about this campaign.
@sapienveneficus8 жыл бұрын
My guess is that the producer found someone to front them the money, and that the kickstarter is to be able to pay everything back.
@davidwh26538 жыл бұрын
such a scam. how are they already rehearsing? oh yeah because they already have the money.
@davidwh26538 жыл бұрын
yes, so the kickstarter is a scam because they are using the funds to pay back money they already have.

To add to the list of recommendations, theaters should have not only assistive listening devices, but ones that are functioning well. This includes all Broadway and off-Broadway shows in the city.

I'm hearing, I don't know ASL (heck, I can't even remember the basics of Vietnamese sign language) and every time I hear this I try my best to sign along with the cast. Am I the only one? XDDDD (On a side note, I really want to learn ASL now.)

Dear Cast and Crew of Spring Awakening, This play is so emotionally impacting i loved every bit of it every character every line and every movement.its so unique amazing funny and reviting.When i left the show i was left with wanting more and being inspired.I said to the actress that played melita it was great when i saw it last sunday i wanted to say more but my mother dragged me out to go home.Im now practicing my audition to laguardia and for my audition im going to be signing and singing Mama Who Bore Me. Its been hard because im hearing and didnt really sign before except for like basic words but fun because i feel a connection to the play all over again.But i love everyone in the play you all are amazing and beautiful.Thank you for impacting me with your beautiful play-Marizah xoxo p.s andy when you died in Smash i was heartbroken.
