Interesting. Green Day are looking pretty much a nailed on headliner next year. I know they aren't metal, but they are a fantastic live band, so people should be satisfied there. Bullet would be great too, but are they a headlining band? I'm not sure. I predict Iron Maiden for the other headlining slot.

I’d say they’re a definite now, but I’d be well happy with that. There performance at Isle of White is on KZbin and looked incredible. Bullet just aren’t there for me as a headliner yet - considering they were 2000 trees headliner level couple years back. I think it’s gonna be a divisive lineup for most

@SMTV__ Agree. I haven't been since 2010 but would consider going again if the line up is good enough. Yeah I think it will divide opinion too. Would like to see Orbit Culture and Bleed from Within on the bill, am hoping for a good run of proper 'metal' bands. I don't mind a few pop punk bands here and there, but not too many because Download is supposed to be a metal festival at the end of the day.

If it's green day, muse and MCR then I'm afraid the festival is going the in the wrong direction, nothing against those bands but all three of those bands could headline a mixed genre festival,and not in rock,metal etc, something like glasto .it's high time parkway drive got the bump up,not a mention of orbit culture on one of these posters,

There is the danger of veering too close to other festivals, but with the dramatic change in Reading and Leeds lineups in recent years… Download has some bands they can adapt to and pick up. But will it change the feel of Download entirely if they go too far?

I think the first one looks amazing. I'm glad they said it was fake so it didn't do the rounds though. I don't think the other two are real either. I heard a long time ago that koRn have been offered headliner in the past but turned it down but I would absolutely love to see them headline. Green day are pretty much nailed on at this point and I have a feeling linkin park are going to be there too. Tbh copping and co are going to have to do something pretty special to compete with the European line ups to get tickets sold

Hi Stu, only just come across this brilliant video, i do have quite a number of vinyls, lots of Nirvana rarities , and various limited stuff from Megadeth to Madonna, Maiden to Mariah Carey. Love the Sabbath pieces amongst others. We are travelling to London on the 12th October to see Eleine & Ignea, 2 brilliant bands that not many know about, they are playing in Birmingham on the 8th, short notice but worth checking out.
