Hey mate how are you , thanks mate , yep has been one windy summer this year , finally got offshore today ,was fine for a couple hours then had a turn for the worst … Barcrusher Sms are great boats , this one is Formosa 595 , more of an all round boat , dosnt cut the chop as well as a barcrusher but dosnt take as much to float , as I use it in river lakes and offshore . Sure is good to get out mate

Good stuff mate. Conditions were horrible, but you made the best of it. I’m from Wollongong and we can’t seem to get a break in the weather atm. The winds are howling. Nice boat too. What model you got ? I’m a Bar Crusher owner. Love getting out there.

I had a fast tail hydrofoil on that engine to which might have helped it . I never tried the boat without it so may have been different without one , had a 4 blade 19 p trophy and. 3 blade Solas both at ran the same day flat and firm on smooth water at any speed . Look up up fast tails Aussie made they are flat plates

That's not that great really for 150 hp my 115 etec ho is probably at least as fast and better acceleration out of the hole with a 17.2 princecraft right around 50 mph top end on glass water with one person

Lol typical etec lover (sorry etec don’t exist anymore).....top end of this boat with just me and two dogs tournament ready runs 58 mph with a 19 prop.,4 battery’s etc ways approx 1.3 ton, would be happy to run you side by side anyday. U etec guys are all the same .

Thanks for the slow parts. I love it, when the engine is enough powerful to cruise just shifted forward. Silent 1500 rpm 👌

BadGamerGood it takes time for it to die with no water from cooling obv. It’s not gonna just die wo5h no water. It takes at least 30 seconds for it to have an alarm come up. Honestly don’t think you would know much about it considering you have gamer in your name

William Donnelly I’ve been driving boats since I was 4, the silly name is a holdover from when I was six which I haven’t bothered to change, If you keep starting the motor out of the water regularly it damages the soft rubber impeller a lot and you have to keep replacing it

My father and I recently purchased a mercury 60hp command thrust outboard for our five metre dingy and we also have a 7 metre large boat with a v8 Mercruiser in it and we all know the famous mercury ignition beep and now it feels very weird turning on the engine expecting to hear a big v8 fire up but instead you get a winey four cylinder that is very quiet that you can’t hear. They also sound so badass loud out of the water when you hear the exhaust
