I completed like 97% in 2 or 3 runs. A little odd to get with it at first, once you catch the basics is a non stop. A remake would be awesome

Love this game so much! So many memories... On my 1st playthrough i had no idea what im doing and couldn't deal more than 1hp dmg. So the only way for me to progress through story was using reflect dmg and mdmg by getting the timing of enemy attacks right. That lead to some really epic fights. Trully a Dark Souls long before Dark Souls xD

Story wise; yes. Visually, no~ She died 2000 years before the game takes place.

Massively underappreciated game with an amazing soundtrack from the same team behind such classics as the Ogre series, Final Fantasy Tactics & Final Fantasy XII. Bought Vagrant Story at a Kay-Bee Toy Store a couple of months after it launched on PS1 after first renting a copy of the game from my local Blockbuster & loved it so much that I just had to own my own copy, been in my game collection ever since. Earlier this year, I finally acquired the official soundtrack from eBay. Fantastic Game, Fantastic Soundtrack. Just Fantastic period👍

Still one of the greatest games ever made. The graphics might be dated, but the story is amazing, and all the twists and turns actually make sense. The tie-in to Final Fantasy Tactics was a nice Easter egg too.

I love that Matsuno mixes Middle-Eastern culture with Western culture. To my knowledge no other game developer does that and it's such a disappointment because that setting could be explored further!
