Bottomline, recent triple A titles launch with shit optimization. You will have to wait for patches and driver updates to get the appropriate performance out of your card. Otherwise the temporal solution is to stick with upscalers and fake frames, which is an easier way for devs to get away with their frame instabilities. Not only does that look visually compromising, but it’s a big fuck you for paying 2,000 dollars on a card that won’t do it justice. The tech is getting more demanding and game devs are crunching time finding shortcuts to get you to play the game properly. Look at Resident Evil 4 Remakes graphics then come back here. That game gets ridiculous frames and looks 5x better than this cesspool of jagged edges. Really up to the team.

There are certain areas where I know for a fact I'll get stutter and can replicate it every single time. Atm though the stutters are there but they're nowhere near as ruthless as the Dead Space Remake... I'm sure they'll fix it. Game is beautiful though still. I'm on a 5800X3D, RX 7900 XT Overclocked as far as it will go and 32GB 3600Mhz RAM, stutters happen but they're not as bad as in this video at all. I'm playing 4K max settings, RT on and FSR 3 set to balanced mode getting 60fps with dips to 55 when it stutters.

It seems like UE5 just sucks running on DX12, the PS5 version doesn’t have stuttering.

I am getting so tired of this shit, people buy $3k PCs only for their games to run and look like absolute garbage, what the actual fuck? Heres my setup that bottlenecks at 60 fps EVGA gtx 980 sc acx 2.0 i7 920 mobo- asus p6t (6 RAM SLOTS) 16 GB of DDR3 500 GB HDD 1000W PSU modular corsair I get max 61 fps in most games I play (PUBG, COD BO3, fallout 4, BF1)* But I get 100 fps +- 50 fps (sometimes reaches 200 fps but never comes close to 60fps* *I play every single game on all ultra or epic settings My CPU has the stock cooler and it gets up to 94 degrees celsius

Garbage settings. If anyone is using this card and wants much better performance, use medium texture settings, 4x anisotropic filtering, low shadow/light settings, unlimited frames with vsync on. I would also use nvidia control panel to overwrite the settings on most games to keep this card relevant

you solud only disable molion blur. DOF quality leave the AA at TAA+FXAA.

This game is cpu bound. You graphic card is not running at 100%. I guess we need the last i7 to run the 1080ti at 99-100% gpu usage.

Actually it's far better port than last one (Old one) But I think their new Engine is causing GPU issue (a patch should fix it) Don't but till they patch it (unless you ok with 30% performance loss)
