I have a 1240 SAT(superscored) and a 2.9-3.0 GPA. I intend to major in IT and have ECs related to it with certifications in network architecture, cybersecurity and AWS. I also have 2-3 LORs. I want to make sure i apply to the right schools which fit my stats and have a good chance of getting accepted and this is my list as of now: 1.LSU(ISDS) 2.UOklahoma(MIS) 3.Texas Tech(IT) 4.Mizzou(IT) 5.Penn State(IST) 6.UIowa(Informatics) 7.UCF(IT). are these a good selection of schools where i have a decent chance of getting into atleast 3 of the schools i listed?
@WillKranenburg12 күн бұрын
Your list looks solid! With your 1240 SAT and 2.9-3.0 GPA, you have a decent chance at getting into several of these schools. Your IT certifications and ECs will definitely help. I'd say you have a good shot at LSU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Mizzou, Penn State, Iowa, and UCF. Good luck!

I'd also be applying EA for some schools between sep-nov so idk im not sure if i should give the sat regardless or just apply with this score and hopefully get into atleast one of the unis i listed.

also for the math question 22 with the variable C instead of just guessing each value until you get it correct (someone might settle for 20.3 or something just barely off..) I would graph the parabola and you can see the max y value with desmos when you hover over the graph at the grey point so then you can just plug that value into the y value for '2y=c' and get the exact answer much faster

While specific Digital SAT questions are confidential, here are five types of tricky questions commonly found on the exam: Data Interpretation: These questions require analyzing and interpreting data presented in tables, graphs, or charts accurately. Look out for subtle details or trends that may affect your interpretation. Word Problems: Tricky word problems often involve multiple steps and require careful attention to detail. Focus on identifying key information, formulating a plan, and checking your solution for accuracy. Logical Reasoning: These questions assess your ability to apply logical reasoning skills to solve problems. Expect scenarios where you need to make deductions, identify patterns, or evaluate arguments. Advanced Algebraic Concepts: Tricky algebra questions may involve complex equations, inequalities, or functions. Be prepared to apply advanced algebraic techniques to solve them. Geometry and Trigonometry Challenges: Look out for geometry and trigonometry questions that require a deep understanding of geometric principles or trigonometric identities. These questions often involve non-standard shapes or configurations. To prepare for these tricky questions, utilize LearnQ's resources, such as AI-generated practice questions and simulated tests, to familiarize yourself with various question types and hone your problem-solving skills.

It might not ever be easy to tell how hard your next module is - my advice would be to focus on each individual question and block out trying to think about things (such as the "module difficulty") that are less important.

Hi! What do you think is the score range in the English section if one was to get the harder second module? I’ve heard of 600-800 and 400-800.
@WillKranenburg24 күн бұрын
I believe it would depend on how many questions you answered correctly in the first module - it would be interesting to see what the score would be if you answered all of the 1st module questions correctly and none of the 2nd module questions correctly.

Are practice tests really representative of what you’d get on the actual test?
@WillKranenburg25 күн бұрын
It depends - while they give an accurate representation of how the test is formatted, the content may vary slightly, and you can never really know until you take the actual test
