Actually no, the FT-60 uses a 3rd contact at the bottom corner of the battery pack for charging. This is how it can charge the rechargeable but not alkaline batteries. It's also possible to modify normal AA NiMH batteries in the AA tray by cutting the "wrapper" off the last battery and then it will charge from the side jack (if your FT-60 supports it, newer models only charge from the drop-in base).

Daca se baga in cadru, a cazut :))) Glumesc, e vorba de un domn care locuieste undeva la un salas linga Anina si care s-a dat jos pur si simplu (trenul mergea foarte incet, zapada era din belsug). L-am vazut ca s-a pus cu fundul pe scara, nu stiam ce urmeaza sa faca, apoi l-am vazut ca a ramas in urma trenului. (aceeasi intrebare a venit de la un amic din State, la versiunea in engleza :)) )
