I just bought this machine used from a lady who bought the embroidery machine in this model. She sewed less than 500 hours and it was serviced and was in the shop less than a week. I have free lessons any time I want them and a free service before a year. I have to be honest, I was crying tonight because I was having problems threading it and my bobbins I thought were too full. Thanks to this very considerate fellow, now I can finish cutting my quilt and get going.

Thank you soo much for this extensive tutorial. I just purchased the Kaffe on Friday I only got a brief lesson on threading, bobbin winding and how to put on a presser foot. I was a little worried when I saw how long it was and I had to do it in small amounts. I would be like OH! That’s how you do that, pause.. run to the machine to set it up, watch more or sew. I really had to laugh when I got to the screen calibration part. Yep did that, shut off the machine too. But I think they must have fix it mine worked when I turned it on. Thank you Jesus or Bernina. LOL. This is my first Bernina so it is a big learning curve to switch but I am enjoying it. I had a top of the line Brother that 20 yrs old that I loved then I bought a Janome less than 3 yrs ago. I have done my best to like it but I really don’t like the machine, it’s the first in all my years of sewing. I’m still a bit shocked my husband let get another machine. But a happy wife is a happy home and definitely beats having me scream over a broken machine every other day. I’m so excited to learn more other the features of this machine. I’m also trying to not get buyers remorse for not buying the latest and greatest. LOL. But I have to say the Kaffe 770 QE Plus with all of the goodies and the embroidery module is like heaven or Christmas in July. So thank you again for all that work you did last year. I know it takes a LOT of work to put together this long of a video. I know I will be watching it again.

These classes were awesome, I received no instructions with mine as it was COVID time. I did have a question, do you shut down your machine after every use or is it wise ti keep it on, than you in advance.

Thank you so much, John! I bought my 770 during the pandemic, and was never given any lessons. This video has been the most helpful I have found on line. I have bookmarked it, and will refer back to it often!!

I just bought my Bernina 770 QE Plus 2 weeks ago. I had a problem when I first took it home saying 1010 Error. Took it back , they said they fixed it, but for some reason I knew it was not a new machine. Until I saw this fantastic video. I first watched you to learn to use it. I then followed along with you on my machine and found some troubling information. I now know it is not a new machine. Thank you so much for this video!! I hope I can get a new machine!!

I have watched so many tutorials, but this video is probably the best I've seen. Now, would you consider doing a video on the B700 Embroidery only machine? I know a lot of the infomation is the same, but....I need all the help I can get and you teaching is fabulous!

Thank you for the comprehensive explanation on how to use the machine. Saves time and headache. I upgraded from Emerald 116 to Opal 690Q . I went to a class to learned how to use the machine and the class left me frustrated because I could not figure out many of the features of this amazing machine. Too many people at the class and the two teachers could not keep up with the raised hands and the different machines that they were teaching. Your class is one on one teaching. Great teaching. Thank you!

Hello John, Thank you so much for this video! It is Amazing! I have the 770QE (had it for years). Watched your video and learned about doing the updates,so I updated. I was particularly interested in the change in the BSR - the foot petal icon that is suppose to appear( 2:06:52 on the video). After doing the update the icon does not show up. Any thoughts as to why it didn't show up?

It bothers me when the name of the machine is mispronounced. One of the first things I was taught in sales of the machine is that there isn’t an “a” after “husk”!! The word is pronounced “Hooskvahrna”

Thank you for this great tutorial, I have had the machine for three years, but have problems with the free motion quilting and stitching of names . The thread rubs itself thin very quickly and breaks. I have tried different needles, threads, changed the tension....I will try the start stop button as you recommended. I learnt some functions that I forgot or overlooked! Thanks! Greetings from Pfaff country Germany! Andrea

I’m in the market for a new Machine. My last 4 new machines have been Janome which I have really liked, however the computer in the last two started failing after a few years. Im looking into the Bernina brand. As much as machines cost, I’m looking for something that can hold up to quilting large quilts. I just use my machines for personal quilting, one or two a year, so it is not abused, and I keep them serviced. I’m currently quilting a Queen sized quilt on a 70 year old Singer 301, because my Janome 6600P is not working.

I bought this machine (in New Zealand) the Saturday before we went in lockdown in 2020. My sewing machines were in Malaysia so I took the chance to get the Husqvarna I wanted. This video was so useful! I have very busy with work since I bought it and realised when I was teaching my 7 year old granddaughter how to sew with it, I needed to learn how to use all the great features. It really helped to play the video alongside trying things out.

You should name your videos a lite more specifically, I was looking for a video like this and only found it because my mom knew about you from when she got her new Phaff. I was searching for things like phaff 720 class, owners class, how to use, etc. There are a lot of videos on this machine to filter through. Thank you for the great video!!
