I would say the biggest disadvantage of a 401(k) versus a pension is the fact that 401(k)’s don’t remove the punishment associated with idiocy, while pension’s generally do. Many people participating in 401(k)’s are woefully inept at figuring out asset allocation, fee structures, risk v reward, necessary contribution amounts, etc. People who take the time to educate themselves on what they are doing are generally served very well by 401(k)’s - Joe Lunchbox often is not…….🫤

The ruling class would push for more immigration. A "diverse" society is an atomized society. Atomized people are easy to control. People who have no common values or culture with each other are much less likely to band together to advocate for their rights and political power.

I purchased both the medium kzbin.infoUgkxfh2XUOHWYHKQYOvSq2gZ6PyCmVkTFGWz and small speed bags from Meister. I'm very glad I got both as the workout is quite different from the two. The small is fantastic for getting your speed built up once familiar with your striking. The medium bag provides a considerable amount more resistance building more strength in your punches. I highly recommend both sizes. Some people have expressed concern over the latex bladder leaking down more frequently than the traditional rubber. I have not found this to be an issue at all.

I'm not in any way joking when I say that the market crash and high inflation have me really stressed out and worried about retirement. I've been in the red for a while now and although people say these crisis has it perks, I'm losing my mind but I get it, Investing is a long-term game, so I try to focus on the long term.

I cannot focus on the long run when I ought to be retiring in 4years, you see l've got good companies in my portfolio and a good amount invested, but my profit has been stalling, does it mean this recession/ unstable market doesn't provide any calculated risk opportunities to make profit?

It is not a failure! Dont tell people that! It's the only product for the working person other then a pension that can provide sustainable income in old age. Let's say people are not using it properly. You're not suppose to cash all out at retirement, only a years worth or months of income. If you take it all out then the money isn't working. That's the issue!

Every person should be able to hire a agent to negotiate their wage. Many people are not good at asking for more money. It seems strange this is only available for the super rich, while I understand why. The agent wouldn’t get much money negotiating a 100k salary but it could make such a big difference to middle class families.

The very short answer is this. No. Of course not. You can't even afford to live currently how can you possably even retire? Doesnt add up does it. Retirement is like a super luxury only the few get, everybody else gets jack shit for a life of work. Once your used up your tossed out to die. That's America that's what its turned into. Where the poor live like middleclass amd middle class live like the poor

Need legislation that classifies Credit Default Swaps as an INSURANCE deal and therefore subject to insurance rules, like having an insurable interest. Having anyone and everyone being able to "bet" on a default and get paid out even tho they had no insurable interest did the crisis no favors at all

A pension takes the risk away from a person out living their money. But that assumes the person will stay employed that company for a long time. A 401k you can take with you
