Hi, most definitely! Penguins are very active during that time and you're also likely to see young penguin chicks in the rookeries.

As we are not allowed to take our own drones. Will it be possible to have some of your drone footage to include in the shots I take from my own trip to South Georgia, this November?

Hi Raymond, Unfortunately not every departure has a drone photographer on it, as photographers need a special licence to operate one, so such footage is not guaranteed in your end of trip photography pack. As for historical footage, this is licenced by the photographer only for our use, so we're sorry we are unable to share this privately. We feel certain, though, that you will be able to capture incredible footage through your own lense.

I am assuming the ship that you used for Sub Antarctic was a Ponant ship. We did this cruise in 2019 o La Perouse, it was a wonderful and memorable trip as we are wildlife carers so being surrounded by penguins, seals, albatrosses and other birds was heaven for us!

I am really keen on finding a small ship with an excellent crew to passenger ratio but with good facilities like mud room and optimised activity infrastructure. Can you please point me in the direction of 2 or 3 options. Many thanks!

I don't think it is fair I have to choose between luxury and being out and about with the animals. I believe there are luxury brands that are small to medium size ships that do a lot of animal encounters and nature excursions
