As a Vulture, I usually wait 5 to 10 minutes if I see a ship, depending on the location, to see if anyone comes back. Sometimes, I fire a few shots to trigger the player's alarm, just in case someone writes something or shows up inside. If no one shows up, then it's mine.

The Conny isn't open. Just the elevator lowered. But you can't use it to enter the ship unless you are in the crew.

shield up ship didn't mean it is not abandonned... you have to scan it to know if it is abandonned... because lot of wreck and abandon ship are shield up...

I routinely find ships all the time that are abandoned with their Shields up, I usually ask in chat. And if no one claims it then I do my thing.

The vertical line of the default sights central to the rifle, behind your scope is where you normally want the enemy to line up unless you plan on firing warning shots. Also need to learn to lead the target. But it's just a game so have fun with it 😁

Incounted this just an hour ago.. 3 guys completely took over a ship of 5.. we unloaded on them for 15 mins.. only thing we could do was knock them out.. ine eventualy self destructed our ship.. did cig ever respond to this happening?

So just to clarify, I started to record this footage as evidence for the report, that I submitted to CIG of the aggressors abuse of a glitch. The immortality that he possessed may not be seen too well here, as I missed most of my pistol shots, but at 2:42 he can be seen tanking some AR shells. Before the recording started and he was making way to the ship, he received 2 full clips of P4AR in the back shot by me, and a clip to the face by my friend, which after he boasted having "the infinite health glitch" in chat. And yes, I should have recalled that the ship had a brig! But airlocking him the hell out of the ship felt truly amazing. After this he said in the chat that he survived the fall, and landed about 500m away from his ship. Silly him, since I then proceeded to torp his Ares before he had time to reach it. He was then left stranded at the outpost and was not heard of again.

Yeah, this game needs some cleaning out. I got ganked and shot in the back of the head while piloting my Polaris to help some newer players through the different Save Stanton missions, some angry twitch streamer sent two of his lackey followers to join the party acting like new players that needed help with the missions, and I got shot in the back of the head while piloting and they just started killing everyone aboard to talk crap in global chat. Losers like this, dont understand how they actually lose the game money playing like this and discouraging others from wanting to play.
