I made that same repair on my tub drain. It doesn't leak at all. I used the same rubber coupling from home Depot.

Always thought you would pull the pipe while setting the set screw piece then put the washer and then screw on the spout? This way seems like it would work but the way ive done it makes it where its not wobbly like that

I installed so many shower pans at UCSD student housing when I was an apprentice. I use a little megaloc pipe dope on the strainer.

fine work for an apartment that will eventually leak again anyways.Those showers always crack me up like k im really enjoying my water flowing out onto the floor and i really like the small profile so i can not clean myself properly lololol apartments such a trap absolute hell.

I do not have that flapper in my toilet tank. I have a plastic thing that goes up when you flush and it just keeps running off and on. It is driving me crazy. I bought a replacement kit, but none of the parts look like what is in my toilet. What can I do?

There are different types but they are interchangeable. All roller bowels have water coming in and water going down the flapper our . I would take a picture of the inside your tank then go to a Lowe’s etc. show them what you have then they tell you what to get .tell them what is happening to help determine what the problem is.
