And now I'm going to run battery steam trams LOL. I'll keep working on the electrification but it's problematic outdoors, everything from cleaning to birds stealing the overhead to use as nesting materials

Yes the flange squeal turns me on. Something you don't get with modern independent axle trams

Rather nice. I have not been following the discussion completely on freerails, so I think you are saying that the pickup is from the overhead. Looks fantastic, despite the traffic noise, or even because of it.
