Honestly, the design of these late 90s cards is amazing. I love it-simple but totally effective. They're really pleasant to look at. The colors and the font go perfectly with the overall design of the card. The player's photo is great; you can see both the player and their environment clearly. Today's cards should definitely draw more inspiration from these. I know that in baseball, some brands recreate these old designs with today's players on them.

I assume you meant late '70s, not late '90s, since these cards are from 1976-77. Yes, this is a very nice design, probably the 2nd nicest from that decade (1971-72 is the all-time best, in my opinion). Topps Heritage and Topps Archives both use old Topps designs on their cards.

Hey there will be TNA wrestling at the auditorium of Verdun in July do you think that the top section higher section seats would be to far from the ring ? I've never been to auditorium Verdun all seats look close.
@montrealsports29
@montrealsports29 12 күн бұрын
Verdun Auditorium is a tiny arena (about 3,500 capacity), so every seat will be close to the ring. The only seats that might be a bit far are the ones at one end of the arena where the seats go higher up, but they might not even bother selling those seats unless they've sold all of the other ones. Did you know that the 1st official WWF event ever held in Montreal was at the Verdun Auditorium?

@@JohnnyInvestor You're welcome. It's funny, because PCO was at the Alouettes game on Saturday as the person who unlocks the cage that the players run out of before the game. I had walked right past him earlier and I didn't know it was him because it's been years since I've seen him. I didn't even know he was still wrestling. I don't follow TNA. I watched a bit of his TNA stuff. He seems to have mobility issues (at the Als game, you could see that he walks with a very noticeable limp), but he's also doing crazy dives off the top rope. It's good that he's still able to wrestle at his age; I just hope that he doesn't hurt himself.
