My first car was a 1967 Ford Country Squire Station Wagon I bought in 1977. I paid $300 for the car. You're correct about frame rust. My left rear trailing arm broke away from the frame allowing the rear axle to move around. Every welder I spoke with told me not to repair it since the frame was so badly rotted. I drove the car for another six months before I got rid of it. I wish I still had it!

Definetely the one to go for. Kurz 500 from 1995 to 2001. Those "W124" interiors and the V8 give them the class that never had before and will never have again. The last G wagons when Mercedes was still Mercedes❤

Tailfins, fender skirts, whitewalls, faux continental kit, chrome - what more could you want? Must be a big block 360 CID under the hood. I would find that dash speedo-pod too gadgety and distracting. Great looking Fury.

Amcs have a very unique sound.prob the dog leg heads. And for those of you who whould consider a LS because ther,re cheaper. Don't. For off roading the amc will offer more torque throughout the power range than a LS.

These classic wagons and vans also are getting POPULAR again, I own a classic dealership in Northwest Arizona and the classic and wagons are by far my most wanted car to find, my daughter works at an RV Campsite and she said she's noticed more and more of the little 16'-22' being towed by Classic Wagons and Vans. With the economy is the tank thanks to the Democrats people no longer have the money to go to Disney or fly to Mexico, Hawaii or The Caribbean for vacation with the family so they are buying a classic Wagon/Van and a small camper and hitting the road like they did in the 50's- mid 80's for pennies on the dollar and seeing the U.S. again.
