Not at all. Two years later I’m still playing it with no issues. They are actually sending me a Les Paul jr kit to make. Sould have a video out within a month.

Glad you are liking your new place. One of those used Jimmie Johnson fans sold on eBay for $120 plus shipping back in 2022. A new in box one sold for $325 2 months ago. The blades alone are listed on eBay right now for $50.

That cage is for wild hogs. They are located throughout the park. FYI, the cabin IS on park property. 🙃 That section of land with the cabin and the science learning center on it was donated to the park.

The Minwax Wipe-on Poly works better than anything I’ve found for guitars. It’s super easy to work with and is really forgiving, not to mention you can sand between coats if needed, and it’s a breeze to build it up as much or little as you like. Plus it comes in Gloss and Satin.

The buzz is more than likely coming from florescent lighting. I know it really annoys me when I'm playing my hot wound Texas blues single coils. You would have to build a makeshift Faraday Cage around your pickups and pots to try and combat the 60 cycle buzz. The feed back is another story, to try and dampen it would defeat the purpose of having a hollow body. I'm thinking thicker finish might tone it down a hair. But your build sounds fantastic to my ears.
