DRILCO model 85 sealed bearing reamer. The round blocks on cutter assembly is the giveaway. Introduced in the early 1980s. Great performing roller reamer.

The equipment shown in this video is more than thirty years out of date. I worked for Schlumberger from 1973 to 2016 and witnessed a major evolution as we transitioned from the R9 gal on meter recorder to the Cyber Service unit (in this video) and then to MonoBay MAXIS and eventually the MCM Maxis using PC-based computers. They “how” we log oil wells changes with technology, but the “why” remains the same. For example the depth measurement is the single most important measurement. Why? Everything done to an oil well needs to accurately done at precise depths.
