so many patients aren't ready or interested in addressing their trauma in their physician's office. and they definitely don't want to identify trauma and stress that could be causing their child's behavior concerns, nutritional issues. I have noticed patients often compartmenatalizing their care even when a physician tries to address things comprehensively. they may not talk to their physician about the things necessary to address their overall health. 🙁

Hello, this looks lovely overall but I read on your website that this detox is supposed to put you into ketosis. I always thought that being in ketosis was not a good thing, hence why the keto diet is so dangerous? I am sure it is much healthier to eat plant based keto but the lack of carbs still kind of freaks me out. Plus I have heard of some nasty side effects on keto. Please let me know if this is true with this detox? I am on the fence about it until I have more info on this.

Hi! Level II is not designed to shift your body into ketosis. Carb intake would have to be 20-50 grams/day, which our program exceeds... and fat would have to be the majority of your intake (70-80%), which does not align with our program design. Our program follows a fasting-mimicking protocol with intentional caloric restriction to stimulate autophagy. This design also supports lipolysis -- the breakdown of stored fat (triglycerides) in adipose tissue into free fatty acids (FFAs) and glycerol for energy. Lipolysis is the first step in fat metabolism and occurs even in non-ketogenic states.

Can you please tell me the difference in benefits between a juice detox and Sakara detox? I’ve only ever done juice detoxes.
@sakara_lifeАй бұрын
Our detox is intentionally designed, whereas juice cleanses' can be less intentional. Plus, cleanses are focused on digestive rest more than deep detoxification. Please feel free to email our Wellness Team for more details.

Interesting that Gabor recounts his abandonment trauma that related to an event that happened when he was ~1 year old and the wound he still carried some 70 years later ... and in the next breath he says "a wound that can be healed at any time". Yet he, who has treated so many, has written several books and has lectured on the topic countless times just revealed he still hadn't healed himself after 70 years 🧐 He makes it sound so easy... "it can be healed at any time" yet after 70 years he still hadn't succeeded in healing himself 😮

If you really want to change your life, listen to all of Maté's videos and/or read his books. You will wish you had found them sooner. 🙂 If you want to learn more about healing trauma, there is much research and many approaches. Peter Levine's Somatic Experiencing is one approach that helps the person focus on what's going on physically inside the self.
