Cool place! I’m glad you’re posting again on YT. I subscribed awhile back about a year ago when you were posting videos about glamping. My wife and I are investors in Baltimore mostly. I enjoy watching as this property keeps expanding :)

@@buildfixflip Yep, it’s all about the consistency and it takes a ton of effort to make and edit videos. Was this one shot with a drone? We post house/rental stuff too on our channel, renorowhome, if you’re interested

We can agree to disagree on that one 😊 but we had a rough time with the dome Tents with the Tennessee weather. The maintenance & cleaning were such a headache

Why are the bathrooms so far from the domes?

We originally had dome tents, and the A Frames are in a flood zone, which is why they are so high off the ground. Logistically and financially, it would have been a lot bigger of a project to add bathrooms inside the a frame.

We added sun shades above the tent to protect from branches falling, bird 💩 and add rain fly cover which made a huge difference

Hello, I was considering to start some business with poorly insulated glamping domes. Do I need to worry about the regulations concerning the minimum efficiency of heating/cooling in buildings? Or are glamping structures exempt from such regulations, similar to heating/cooling in vehicles?

I really appreciate the content and info. Question: what do you recommend as a "good" mattress? Several hosts have mentioned this, but I haven't seen much specific guidance. Mattresses and mattress replacement can be hugely expensive, so what is the right balance between cost and comfort as a host? Side note - I've recently been looking into replacing my own mattress of probably 20+ years (way too long) and just find the range of options, prices, and very non-customer friendly purchasing process to be a bit off-putting. But clearly it's a very important factor in an AirBnB. Actually one of the things I appreciated most about a recent glamping stay of my own outside of Zion NP.

I am so sorry I am just seeing this. We have dream cloud mattresses and may many guests have raved about them. They are pricey, but I think they are so worth it.

Already having campsite. It must be so nice for people to camp in a dome, with a comfortable bed, privacy, glamour, the campsite is pretty tiny, much birch-trees around, mid-night sun, sometimes Aurora borealis in the winter. Already having WC on the campsite in the summer, access to shower in the main house. Even access to electricity from the dome. I would choose a dome, because of the moist weather all year through. Some sunny days though. Some summers are sunnier and dryer than others. Very hard to predict the weather in front of every season. Many nice hikes nearby, som mountains to climb, that are not too difficult to climb, but provides view and feeling of accomplishment. Of course at stunning Helgeland in North of Norway.

Good to see you all back 100% this is work. I just finished my first Glamp season. It went very well with great interest and reviews. I don’t think most people realize that this is a business and should not just be treated as a money grab. I really try to make it special for peeps. Looks like you do too! But you are exactly right, so many people hear other you tubers "making millions in the blink of an eye" and jump in expecting easy money, when this takes a lot of hard work to make sure your guests have a wonderful time.
