Ibn Khaldun was born and raised in the Al-Kasbah district of Tunis, the capital of Tunisia 🇹🇳 specifically in a neighborhood called Hay Al-Wadi, which was situated within the walled city. This area was known for its scholarly and aristocratic families, like Ibn Khaldun’s, who were involved in intellectual, political, and religious affairs. The Al-Kasbah district was a center of political power, hosting administrative offices and palaces, and also featured educational institutions, mosques, and libraries that contributed to Ibn Khaldun’s formative years.

Thank you, great dialogue. I find Descartes' proofs very relevant. They're completely subject to the law of causation. I consider them to be fully consistent with the knowledge of the laws that modern science offers. The ideas of René Descartes need to be more popularised and explained. Thank you

@@read1communications I think to understand René Descartes' proof, we need to focus on his example with the marks on the candle wax. Or like footprints in the snow. Because if we think that ideas in the brain are like footprints, then they have a cause. If we start to deny the evidence of René Descartes, it means proving that the traces came from the void. And it means denying science. We have the trace of perfect essence. We realise it when we call ourselves imperfect, that is, we realise ourselves limited in knowledge and power, so against this background we see the trace of infinite power and knowledge.

so this guy changed his name and chose the fake name KMT to suit his role and character. talk about being one dimensional and grasping at any straw no matter how flimsy it may be. pathetic for sure but also shameful for not embracing his real west African heritage and instead appropriating and stealing Egyptian culture just like the Europeans did. best remedy for eurocentric narrative is genuine education and knowledge, one that includes all societies and cultures. africa is full of rich histories that remain ignored by afrocentrics and instead they make up their own which turns them into a joke

What a nauseatingly disgusting video. I have lived under Islamic law, have studied it well, and have lost family members to it. It disgusts me when I see these “scholars” openly lie in this form. 10 minutes into the video and I hear many lies already. 1) the rule of Quran is not Sharia and stands for all times and places. Who said so? There are direct unambiguous instructions about many legal matters that are horribly unjust. For example the testimony of a woman is worth half that of a man. Or that a free man is equal to a free man, a slave equal to slave and a woman equal to woman. 2) Mohammad lived and consulted with Jews as his equals: really? Do you think we have not read the Islamic history? Are we unaware of the massacre of the Jews of Bani Quraiza? Educate yourself, and save yourself from these fake scholars. 3) Quran can be interpreted in many ways: this one is a bit true, because the book is hopelessly random and incoherent. But time and again the Quran claims that it is a clear message for everyone in simple language. Why does it need interpretation if it is supposed to be clear?

The primary source of information for Muslims that practice Islam is the Holy Quran. All other data outside the Holy Quran must agree with it. Here is a very important verse; "6. 115. The word of thy Lord doth find its fulfillment in truth and in justice: None can change His words: for He is the one who hears and knows all.

@@read1communications I didn't say it was in contradiction, but filled with laws against human decency. It is validated by Al Azar University, so it has bona fides. o9.0 JIHAD (O: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad. ``We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad.'' The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as: (1) ``Fighting is prescribed for you'' (Koran 2:216); (2) ``Slay them wherever you find them'' (Koran 4:89); (3) ``Fight the idolators utterly'' (Koran 9:36); and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: ``I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah''; and the hadith reported by Muslim Do you want more about captive women? Marriage age? Indemnity laws? Commanding the right and forbidding the wrong? "The military detachment of Ougarou," in the eastern region, "faced a large-scale complex attack on Thursday morning," said an army statement. "Thirty-three of our soldiers, unfortunately, fell with their weapons in their hands, while twelve others were wounded," it added. What a great discussion! In listening to the panel of scholars, I'm now convinced that our religious leaders should...in addition to all their other examinations and learnings...study the words, thoughts, and accumlated knowledge of religious scholars; then pass on and preach those lessons learned to their congregants. Imagine, the three Abrahamic religions practicing their faiths individually, but acknowledging collectively through acceptance, love, goodwill, and respect , that each is a fabric thread of the original tableau...the original program. Like one panel member put it: (paraphrasing) God was the programmer, and his creation did not include the presence of viruses. I think it'd be interesting as well to assemble a discussion panel chaired by (in addition to the three heard today) representatives from other world religions.

Well, the idea of that the Jewisch People belonged and was chosen by one god is how christianity and islam got the SAME idea, the idea that god was one came from the Egyptian faraos Uperkef and Akhenaten , and from this the hebrews and later the Mosaic fafe developed and from the jewisch fafe first christianity and later islam developed. Parts of the jewisch scriptures are included in the bible ( the whole of Torah THE old testament are Jewisch scriptures) and the qouran includes Christian litterature the praise of Miriam and Jewisch commenteries upon Torah. So that jews first as a group belived in one god . But of course they strayed, You three means that you never doubt ? Never sin? Always follows gods will in your own lifes? Of course you dont. Why should the jews be more diffrent , than you three?
