I'm only 400 years old, and Black Flag is still my favorite band, after all these years...

And what do your kids listen to? (And have they stopped screaming “Dad!!! You are too old to be in the mosh pit!” “But kids, the BAND is OLDER THAN ME!”) GenX=The 1st generation told by their kids to turn it down/ they are playing their music too loud. , I was at Riotfest a month ago and it was so cool to see the crowd at the Buzzcocks, Descendants, NOFX, etc made up of punks the same age as the band, but also young families with cute little kids and every age in between. We have 3-4 generations of punks listening to the same music-both old and new. It’s really cool, and., at least in the US after our elections, really important. More so than ever before, we need to pull together as a community and be willing to stand up for each other, as the next four years are going to be hard on all of us.

@ :30 this is where the biopic should begin, 1966 touring montage first, then plop viewers right into the middle of the madness just as Syd began slipping away.

I picked this single up back in 1981 from Licorice Pizza when I was 14, it was free. I tried to listen to it several times but just not my thing. Still, the opening of "Thirsty and Miserable" sends me right back to jr. high! Apparently there was a riot there (South Jr High) a year before when the band had come to play.

Descubrí a Almendra escuchando una publicidad con la canción "Muchacha", himno absoluto. Estuve en la reunión cuando tocaron en el estadio Obras, en el 79, creo.
