Great video!! You got so many amazing close up shots. What camera/lens do you use? I only use a GoPro on a pole, but rarely can I get that close to the fish. We will be going to the Seychelles in 9/24. I hope the sealife is that abundant then. And since they are my favorite, I loved the octopus. Thanks for sharing.

Hello! Mostly I used a Gopro Hero 4 black with a h2o redfilter on an Aquapod stick. A few scenes were made with a Canon G16.

Oh, what a cute little jerk! lol I've had multiple damselfish come after me during dives before and sometimes, not during dives, too! I was standing in relatively shallow water once (up to my waist) and I suddenly felt sharp little pains on my legs -- turns out, I got too close to a damselfish's territory and it was BITING me to get to go away! Unfortunately, I then stumbled into the territory of a different damselfish in an attempt to escape the first one, and THAT one started biting me, too lmao! (By the way, would it be all right if I used this footage in a KZbin video I'm working on? I'll be sure to link this video in the description, and credit you in my video!)

@hansjurgenklein2513 Жыл бұрын
Danke greetings
@HunNass Жыл бұрын

Hi Ed, I don't think so, because the damsel didn't only attack my mask and my cam, but also my hood and my arms. These damsels also frequently attack other fishes quite bigger than themselves. I think they are simply real daredevils - chapeau! ;-)

Choose not to touch, feed, handle, chase or ride anything underwater. Your actions may stress the animal, interrupt feeding and mating behavior or provoke aggressive behavior. Understand and respect underwater life and follow all local laws and regulations.

Hi, I've been following your channel for a long time and everything in your videos has always been spectacular. The sessions are great, the quality is fantastic... this channel is absolutely brilliant and you helped me a lot with the majority of my curiosities about scuba diving, thank you so much, I appreciate everything you do on KZbin, good job! Anyway, I would like to make a suggestion (if it's not a problem for you): I'm convinced that you can add a really funny video on your channel to show us some of the funniest things happened while scuba diving, swimming or even during other water activities, I was thinking of something like a "oops and bloopers" compilation. For example, you could gather all of the times where you or your diver friends get recorded on video during ops time... like a pee time! Once, my uncle, who is a scuba diver too, wrote “I’m peeing right now 😊” on a waterproof notebook while we were diving and it was soooo hilarious and funny that I almost died. He always tells me there are 2 types of swimmers, divers and surfers: those who pee in the water and those who lie. If you want, you could also include those "releasing" moments as small clips in the future videos just to keep having a bit of humor on your channel, you can use both old and new clips, what do you think? Yeah… I know, it could sound weird for your right now, but, in my opinion, it's the funniest thing about divers and swimmers, believe me. When a diver pees in the water, I think they demonstrate to be someone who is not afraid of consequences or to be judged and they just enjoy the moment, no matter what happens. And if you can't tell when someone else does it, well, you could ask them to do a particular sign before they do it, I think it's something that can come out great! I'd be so so happy to watch it, let me know, have a wonderful day!
@HunNass3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment! Well, it's not so easy to fulfill your suggestion, as the "action" you're interested in, isn't very obvious and visible. I have no such footage, sorry.
