In theory it sounds good but not all customers go for that. Sometime you have to give a price or payment to get them in. Just like this video is out here to teach us, there are customer tutorials on all of our tactics as well. I find that being honest and building rapport is your best bet.

NEVER GIVE THEM A PRICE OR PAYMENT BECAUSE YOU DONT KNOW!!! And if you end up saying a payment or price then you’re liable for whatever happens and can get fired if you give them a number you’re not authorized to do. It’s not your job to discuss price

It's amazing how Tesla isn't AFRAID of giving the customer ALL the info they want WITHOUT the, duh I'm just a computer(saleman) can't provide that info, please please please come in, this model is so old.

think you missed the mark heavily on building rapport with the customer and then drilling down to what caught their attention and selling the value of your dealership and the vehicle and getting them excited and then locking in your appointment. having notes about what you discussed and if you got any of their interests like maybe they were golfing that day or a family event, it helps your sales people connect so the customer feels valued. appointments are the name of the game but just answering and giving an option of this time or that time isnt going to set the team up for success. quality of appointments > quantity of appointments

Thank you for your comment. I agree with you specially when the customer is at your lot. But as a BDC our job is to bring you in. Sales people sell the dealership and the car. Talking too much over the phone decrease the chance of getting the appointment. Come here Mr customer and we will talk as much as you want :)

I just subscribed to your channel. I have a question: as a car wholesaler located in California, can I buy cars online let's say at the Manheim auction in Dallas texas, far away from my business location, and sell them at the same Manheim auction without being present physically in Manheim auction in Dallas, tx. My point is, does Manheim offer a service such as( stock the cars bought, and put them back on the lane for sale) without the car dealer being physically at the auction. please let me know if you have an answer, I will appreciate it

I would say this system is OBSOLETE. Who in their right mind would accept an appointment without understanding value??? This system is responsible for giving SALES a bad reputation. If you have an IRRESISTIBLE OFFER, then that offer should be the one bringing me in. Not the other way around.

GJ. You hit all the key elements. I completely agree with you that the way you dress makes a difference. If you dress like a clown you get treated like a clown. When you dress like a boss and enter a room the atmosphere changes. Everyone in that room knows the decision maker is here. Helps with closing deals, calming down upset clients, and controlling your staff

I'll take the 25% of gross all day .....75% of dealerships have now dropped gross commission pay plan and offer a slightly higher show up $ and a shit flat per unit with an anemic volume bonus structure.

25% commission comes from the sales rep selling the car, not the BDC. the $50 sold comes from the pay of the sales rep to the bdc rep
