Russian guys commenting on early Heep is not a surprice really. Russia has produced great symphonic music and these guys have great taste in music. What a gem this performance is. Thank you!

This is my first time hearing a live version of Salisbury and sadly, all I can think of to say is what a "gas" it must have been to see this performed live in concert, even without an orchestra. Thank you so much for posting this epic live performance of the very 'eavy, very 'umble, high and mighty Uriah Heep from back in the day at the top of their game with the band's best lineup in all of their glory. Hehe, I hope Mick gave his guitar a cigarette, or maybe a blunt afterwards because he f*ckin' killed it on those solos!

@user-op3vw3ox9o7 ай бұрын

I attended this show at Buffalo War Memorial Auditorium, August 1973. Uriah Heep headlined, Earth, Wind, and Fire co-headlined, and ZZ Top opened. I seen Uriah Heep 4 more times up till about 1982, also in NYC, Toronto, Houston, and last here in Dallas, where I live today. Really loved this band, they were phenomenal, as far as composition and live performance. Brought back great memories ... Thank You 🟪

Definitely, this group is out of this world, the music they have produced over time is unique and is heard better and better, what a pity that they have already left and only that great guitarist mick box remains who is world class. I listen to them since 1971.

With Ken's intense hammond mastery and Mick's trills with awesome notes from David in this spectacular display of one of their most epically ambitious tracks

The rhythm section is awesome. It was namely Iain Clarke who drummed Heep to its success and major act and finally stardom in his one year visit to the band. And it was namely Paul Newton who brought the jazz element to music. After they left the band lost that jazzy feel forever and the overal sound became quite different with Kerslake and Thain. That of course is another story.

This is a masterpiece.. The music is powerful and the lyrics are pure poetry. Many years ago I had the opportunity to speak with Ken Hensley when he lived and worked in the USA. I had called ST LOUIS MUSIC about some amplifiers, and he was the guy who did endorsements. I was able to hook him up with an artist in the Contemporary Music business and they hit it off. Didn't mention Uriah Heep until the end of the call, and made a point of thanking him for this amazing piece of music. He was an English gentleman all the way...
