@@Inflexxius Nah top lane is usless unless u are mega fed u don't have an impact because bot after item will 1 shot u unless ur jax or a tank but then u get 2v1nd in side lane because jg thinks drag is bait or something happens when u split push so u die than give shutdown to somebody than they get fed because ur team than u loose because u can't carry games because enemy jg will make a missplay that kills u or someone on ur team ints adc or mid and then mid roam gfetting adc fed or jg ganks getting adc fed or support gets adc fed all options u can't play the game if adc is because support peals or u get 1 shot, top lane has so little impact its funny

@@VaxonVaxoff Yeah, it can get unfortunate. I think top lane can have solid impact on the game, but too many games one of the bot laners go 5/0 before 8 minutes and then it's hard XD

It probably would be, but I always find it so hard to give up the MS from boots. I feel like it's just so valuable. Maybe something like a Spear of Shojin or a Randuin's would've been the play.

@@babiniu Botrk wouldn't provide any survivability while I'd also be losing ability haste from losing the Boots, so I'm not really a fan of it this game. As for Deadman's, I considered it but I think I'd rather have the extra survivability and sticking power from Randuin's or the AH from Spear of Shojin.

@@Inflexxius it would increase your duel potential massivly and I think u had enough cdr that 0,5 sec on Q wouldnt make that much difference, but ye tough call there. What if u would swap to berserkers and go zephyr? It would help with sticking to enemies

@@babiniu Maybe a consideration, but I don't like building attack speed on Jax. It's too inconsistent; if the enemy team decides to peel you then it's a dead stat.

The active provides a lot of sticking power that really benefits Jax, and the hydra effect also increases your farming speed a lot. It's just an overall really nice item on him.

I'd say it differs depending on the champion. A champion like Gangplank, if he gets ahead, can force you out from under your tower with barrels that take 25-50% of your health each. So he can quickly progress in the side lane. As Jax I wouldn't have been able to progress against the Sett fast enough in my opinion. I can't ignore him can kill his tower since he'd do too much damage with Bork. I could try to poke him down with W+Q away combos, but it would take me a few to do that while also having to push past his Bork and passive sustain. Meanwhile, I'd be the strongest member of my team being in the side lane vs the weakest member of theirs. So my team would likely lose every 4v4 they took. So I felt the fastest way I could progress the game in a favorable manner was to secure objectives and win teamfights. If I was playing a champion that could quickly force towers off of Sett, then I probably would've stayed in the side lane.

Yeah, I think we definitely could have. You can see me ping on my way in their base to try to get my team to stay. I'm certain I was saying things about it, but that was during the accidental mute XD Caitlyn was spawning soon, but if we pushed for the end aggressively with no hesitation it would've been secured, I think. As for the Sett. Yeah, he really had a game plan locked in XD

I didn't really see anywhere I could have played more aggressively without it being too risky. Was there a specific part that you had in mind where you felt I could have gone for a more aggressive decision/rotation?

Ah, yeah. That one was a struggle XD Was looking rough, but we played to our win conditions and we did it!

He was Masters, to be fair. But he was also a Volibear main so that's pretty wacky XD I guess maybe it was just his first time playing the matchup, or maybe he thought he could catch me off guard with the Q or something.

During a fight Mordekaiser probably won't be healing that much, he'll be mostly using the shield part of his W to absorb damage. Most of the healing is going to be from Conqueror which isn't enough to warrant Executioner's in my opinion. If Executioner's reduced shielding then definitely, but unfortunately the only shield reducing item in the game has terrible stats for Jax XD

Another is exposed to the glory that it Stridebreaker! It's the best hydra item on Jax in my opinion. The active is just so great for allowing you to get on and stick on people, and enables you to do so many things you usually can't.

I may more may not have lost it a bit XD

I'll probably stick to the same stuff for now, but that might change. I'll have to see how it feels.

I think it's really good as long as you can proxy at least the first 3 waves, ideally with the last wave you clear before recalling being between the tier 2 and tier 3 towers so that you have as little a time gap as possible between the minions getting to lane and you getting to lane. If you can't get at least 3 waves, then the risk isn't worth the reward, in my opinion.

Stridebreaker is pretty much my go-to 2nd item if it's viable for the match. I prefer it over Rav for the really nice sticking power from the active. It lets you land more autos, thus increasing your damage, and also lets you chase people down and land Es where you wouldn't be able to. You can also escape with it, or use it to stay on a target so that you can save your E for something. It just has really nice synergy with Jax, in my opinion.

@@Inflexxius I thought about doing that myself but then I thaught that some more attack speed is better since you get tons of haste from items

@@alex_velociraptoras7651 Attack speed doesn't scale as well as Ability Haste does on Jax. So the AH shard is better scaling and I generally go Tri Force and Stride, so I get a decent amount of AS from items anyway. I've been trying out the AS shard again lately. Need to see if it makes a significant enough difference in the early game to run it instead.

Playing to probability, I can respect that. Guess it often enough and you'll be correct eventually, surely XD
