I feel as though if Charlie knew what had happened, she would have forgiven Afton. Hell, her UCN lines may have already indicated that she doesn't hate Afton anymore, despite still hunting him. The only one who would have still been unforgiving would be Cassidy.

Charlie outright says “I don’t hate you, but you need to stay out of my way.” As for Cassidy, I think he understands what happened to Afton’s family is tragic, but in his mind, it doesn’t excuse what Afton did, so Cassidy probably doesn’t hate Afton for what he did to him individually, but for what he did to everyone.
