I think it’s because you used it in straightened oily hair. When you mentioned the color was picked up on the bottom it’s because the bottom of our hair is dry compared to the roots which are oily.

Hi dear. Thank you for this. Do you think I need to use the blue or purple shampoos first to decrease brassiness before I apply the OverTone? I ended up with orange and yellow hairs I really dislike.... Also, which shampoo helped you most, the blue or the purple? I appreciate your advice

Hey ♥️ Thank youuuu 🥺🥰 I have fizzy hair also so I feel you ! Make sure your hair is dry in the curlers before letting it out. (If it’s humid it’s more likely to get frizzy) I did put in hair oil before and after that I think helped calm down the frizz ! Also try rinsing with cool water when you wash your hair.

How many weeks the color is last?

I kept the color up for a while using the daily conditioner every time I washed my hair (once a week) and then I changed my hair color to black about two months in. If you don’t wash your hair everyday and are not using the daily conditioner the color should last up to a few weeks. If you do use the daily conditioner it should maintain the color.

I’m kind of scared for my order to come over now because my hair is only a little bit lighter than yours and I just payed a lot of money for that 😭

If your hairs a bit lighter than mine like you say it’ll take enough to be noticeable. The camera didn’t catch the subtle tint it gave to my really dark hair. Look up lightening hair with hydrogen peroxide & see if that’s something you’d consider before adding overtone. I did it recently and it lightened my hair a shade without the damage of bleach. (Do at your own risk) 🤪
