Actually you will heal on any web patch, they don't need to be connected.

@@anxietymonamour especially now that the hight of jeffs hitbox is nerfed it's easier to grapple up and dodge it, I used to just hope and pray my mines would take him out when he ults me.

Diamond Peni lord here, Peni actually had 3 ways to counter jeffs ult. One is webbing yourself out of the munch zone, two is Jeff triggering all your mines after munching you, and three is webbing yourself back onto the map after he spits you. This can even be done when he spits you straight down if you're fast enough as she can wall climb back onto the ledge.

@@RatShadows the mines worked a lot for me too but sins i like to move around a lot to places mines at flank angles i often don't have mines to safe me, also the jeff's in my games trow themselves off the map too since they know i can web hook out.

You do get healed when your on the web on the wall. Otherwise, I have actually started to use it sporadically to increase my mobility and also it allows to gain a high point of view quickly which does give an advantage in terms of seeing where enemies go. That I find very convenient to then place my webs and hide my mines. I get plenty of kills just like that. I experiment a lot in quick match which pisses people off but if you force yourself to use it, you'll find amazing applications I believe. A good way is also to go in custom match and explore empty maps. If you watch my 2 last shorts, you can see me use it a bit. Thanks for your comments :)

You just wallrun holding space and W, right? Just release W. Important detail is that if you're attached to wall and start bouncing, it won't let you re-attach to the wall until you touch the ground first. It was confusing at the beginning. Did I answer your question?

Yes, but it's very sensitive so you can't strafe left to right. You have to go in circles if you want to switch direction.

Might have been OP... I don't know. You can always shoot while bouncing but yeah, not great... However you can still drop mine and that's always useful + The regen effect of course.

​@@anxietymonamour Nope. Hardly a time where it was ever useful. On attack you'd be trying to push so that you can use plant your spiderbot and secure a path ahead. When defending you put your bot down to hold chokepoints and have a place to heal. These webs can extend the amount of space you can use to heal/trap. As a tank you'd also want to be around to soak up some damage for your team. Hanging on walls is fun but thats 1 web patch less and you don't have any abilities that makes ambushes worthwhile. So its more convenient to keep that ability free so that you can zip away from enemies in any direction or towards them if needed. most tank positions also lack a medium ranged ceiling for actual ceiling hijinks (its either too low or too high).

I really like your thinking. I think I have a slightly different approach and while I admittedly have a hard time executing it due to skill issues, I have had some good results using the bounce back strategically. I haven't had much time to play during Xmas days but I'm coming up with a breakdown of my game mindset with Peni. I hope we all can share opinions and tips. Respectfully :) I'm looking forward to the exchange with other Peni Players :) (and a bit anxious gotta admit).

@@anxietymonamour I need one more kill with the symbiote for the achievement (I got the others luckily vs bot when I was learning Peni). Last night I was in a squad with 3 friends and one was playing Venom. EVERY SINGLE ROUND I said “OK, I’m gonna get that symbiote kill.” They were all laughing at me. I think I remembered to press the button like twice in 3 hours.

Everybody complains about that character, they just don't know how she plays. I get quite some salt in my lobbies.

I'm still looking for good spots to use it but for example, when there is a tower in the middle of the objective: If you attach yourself high enough on the tower, you can then go down left and a bit back (to avoid the strand to break) strafe and spam canon and mines, then when they start targeting you, you pull right back in the middle behind the pilar and can come back down on the right side, or the left and keep spamming canon and mines on the way to you and to help your colleagues. With your nest behind cover at the bottom of the pilar and mines here and there. You can also bounce and drop mines down every now and then and your always between 2 regen spots (Your nest and the web on the pilar to which your attached). There is so much to do with her.

She hunts so much more like a spider than Spiderman himself imo. Weaving her web in strategic places to catch insects. I see what you mean tho but her mobility is pretty good as well once you put everything together 😊 Thanks for your comment!

You can have 3 webs down and it's a good idea to have a few around your spider nest as a healing backup cause good teams will target the nest. Her webzip and wall crawling are good escape tools

@codysorenson4298 Definitely, I have a hard time managing those. So far I used them the most as traps by extending the range of the cyber spiders. I'm also trying to think of placing some for quick repositioning but I often get too caught in the chaos.

@@anxietymonamour it takes a little time to get in the habit of doing this but it can work. I've had a lot of spider nests get destroyed but I was able to hold my position and the other team gets confused cause in their mind they think you have to move. The spider nest has a 15 second cool down if it's destroyed. If you take it down yourself then depending on how much health the nest has the cool down will be a lot shorter

One is the amount of web patches you have sprayed, I believe. A count of 3 in total can be dispatched (plus the one from the strand, so 4 in total-but it seems I was mistaken about this. Apologies for the confusion!). The other one is the spider nest life, which is 250, I think.

I'm checking now in the range and it's true it's not changing, strange. When I watch in game replay I can see it change but I don't see what I'm doing different.

The only difference seems to be that I'm at the shooting range, is it the same for you? (And it's 3 web patches max including the web strand one)
