Sir WHEN,WHILE etc Conjunction के बाद क्या हम THERE IS/ WAS/ARE/ WERE का use करते है इसका use normal बाकी subject की तरह होता है या कोई special rules होता है Please help with example. 🙏

The only thing to remember is that immediately after conjunctions such as if, when, where, etc future tense is not used in the subordinate clause. When the sun will set, we will stop playing. (×) When the sun sets, we will stop playing. (√)

The dancers wished that the music should be continued.

This is the correct form as 'music' cannot do action on its own.

'To continue' also means 'to keep happening/existing'. It is also used as an 'intransitive verb' , for example:- The story continues on page twelve. His depression continued even after his psychiatric treatment. The rain may continue for several days. Thanks for watching.

Between Adjective Clause and Adverb Clause to which class does Elliptical Clause belong ???
@GrammarClass
@GrammarClass 3 ай бұрын
Elliptical clauses are usually adverb clauses; however, even co-ordinate clauses with implied (omitted) word(s) can be elliptical constructions.

In the last usage you said in the usage of headline first example fifty killed in airline crash in the second clause you said fifty passenger killed how we identify in the elliptical clause which people were killed
@GrammarClass
@GrammarClass 3 ай бұрын
If I have understood your question correctly, "Fifty killed... " means fifty passengers on board the crashed aeroplane were killed. But in the headline, the word ' passengers' is left out but understood. Hope this helps.

What's difference between became here and in concept of inchoative verbs
@GrammarClass
@GrammarClass 4 ай бұрын
'To become' is a lexical verb as it carries a clear meaning of its own, for example, 'He became (felt)sad'. But, since the verb 'become' indicates a change of state or condition (earlier he was not sad), it is also an inchoative verb. Hope this helps. Please share our videos to help others.

Respected sir, being undisputedly the greatest grammarian of this generation across the globe, you are earnestly entreated with folded hands to enlighten me a tad bit as to which of the following answers would be the most appropriate one from the grammatical point of view -Question -The question was very easy.Everyone could answer it.(Join the sentences using 'too' ). My probable answers-(A) The question was too easy to not to answer (B) The question was too easy for everyone not to answer (C) The question was too easy to answer.Sir, this yan academic question of class X standard.Do please let me know if the option (C) would be grammatically logically correct.
@GrammarClass
@GrammarClass 4 ай бұрын
Option B is correct. Option C should be corrected as "The question was easy enough for everyone to answer. "
