Great list! I agree with (almost) all of it haha! BTW, the 8th Doctor's sonic actually retracts/extends! The toys don't sadly, but the prop did, and some replicas do, which puts it above the 3rd Doctor's sonic for me personally :)

I can't say anything nice about that piece of crap. I can't see the show lasting much longer it has gone down down deeper and down.

I honestly love it. I understand some people don't like it because it doesn't look like a "screwdriver" anymore but there have been other odd sonic devices like the sonic sun-glasses or Missy's umbrella or the Master's laser screwdriver. I would personally just call mine a sonic mouse or remote or multi-tool. It's become more of a multi-tool than a screwdriver over the seasons anyways with how much it does. I also do think this one looks higher end than previous designs, I hope mine doesn't feel as cheap with the USB/Lens extended but with the amount of light/sound effects it contains, as well as the red/orange secret laser screwdriver light/sound effects, the whole shebang seems well worth the price.

I still don’t know what to think of this sonic, I might need to see a bit more of it before I consider purchasing this I mean 39 pounds is a lot then you gotta convert it to Australian and god knows how much it’ll be.

Nine and Ten's mean the most to me because they were my first era. I had so many toys that were collector's items and special pens too. Really special memories growing up. I think 12 has the most beautifully crafted, but I don't love it as much as I want to. He started with Eleven's Sonic and his era involved the sunglasses so much and by the time he gets it should feel like "It's beautiful, hell yes" it's more used to remind him of who he is. It's never vital to him (Not a bad thing though) I love FourTen's because it's a really good combination of most modern era sonics. I like the current except the shape. Why didn't they just design something different and have that be the reason. RTD thought it looked too much like a gun? Fantastic collection and list

I would switch the 14th doctor's one and capaldi's one, 10th doctor second place, 11th doctor 3rd place and the pre New Who ones at the bottom

My personal favorites are the Fourteenth's, the Master's Laser Screwdriver, and the Eleventh's. Its funny, the comment you made about the Fourteenth's being a bit mismatched is the reason why I never liked the Twelfth's, I thought the same thing about his! But there's nothing wrong with that at all, of course. I do wish Thirteenth's had been reviewed a few more times in design, the 'hand made' and 'crystals' combo could have worked but the execution was so poor. Thanks for the video, very enjoyable watch!

I'm gonna say it... this was my favorite episode of the season, especially the final twist (no enemy, but everyone thinks there is) and this is the first episode where Ncuti "truly is" the doctor throughout. not just the companions Uber driver. I will disagree with the atmosphere of the scenery. It wasn't supposed to be an extravagant location, it was a complete wasteland with a mine on it. It was flattened, cheap, a WWI/II bombed out location. That's all it needed to be. (This is the one that is the opposite of the finale btw.. there's no _reason_ to save everyone, cause you needed that for the big twist with "V".). About the only subplot i didn't really care about was the female soldier and the technician love story that just kinda came out of nowhere (well not nowhere but nothing really needed)

Completely disagree on the "nobody dies" issue. When you "bring death to death" this is one of those few times where if ANYONE died at the end, it defeats the whole episode. This is a case where he has to save "everyone" or Sutekh wins 'somewhere'. (I agree, again, i don't get the spoon scene, or anything that led to that.. or i just missed it altogether).

2nd Doctor's for me. It's so simply its classy... and also I have a soft spot for it as I own a 1960s original 😅

I went to that too it was so good, I was lucky enough to be quite close as well and seeing everyone one acting out the story and learning about the production was super interesting. Also the audience being used for background noise was so clever and really fun.

This looks so cool! I really wish they did more events like this internationally, I know it’s expensive to make and I know there was the 60th anniversary concert internationally but man wouldn’t it be cool if other countries had something like this.
