Many Christian believers are treating God like a Santa Claus. Their mindset and attitude is "Give me! Give me! Give me! My name is Jimmy!" They just want what they can get out of Jesus. They don't want to worship Him for who He is. So, their motive is not pure. Many preachers have also contributed to such mindset by presenting Jesus as a santa claus. This is really sad!

Thank you for this teaching. I confess not to know much/ enough abt history. So apart from the heart of the message...the contrast-" who has our heart", it has helped me understand abt the " looking for a messiah/ deliverer".( Knowing the full and true history of anything is so very very important,no?) The challenge abt accepting Jesus. But right there you told why Jesus is the One. And you know,my heart leap on that when you say why Herod got so nervous in relation to hearing abt " this particular King ". (The lineage of David,etc) Because I think of the " craziness" of it all. What do I mean? Yes,the star didnt lead them directly to Jesus...until after they had come to town and Herod heard of their presence. Isnt that a thing? It is a mystery why God did it so- and I dont want to distract from your point. It only makes me think how Herod must have just abt had a heart attack when he heard that.😳 Why does God work like that? Smh. I reckon it is the "million dollar question"! It just makes me more in awe of Him...which is what I guess I am trying to say.🕊️

Pastor West,there is something abt you I couldnt quite define to say before. Now I think I have it. Its that to me you are how I can see Paul was. Singlemindedly passionate!( I imagine Paul probably drove many a folks crazy and that you do also- no offense:). I reckon it has something to do with how and what God captured you from. That the kind of fervency you have is the kind when one has been saved in a way thats so meaningful to them. Only you know it and it means A LOT. How can you make anyone understand what God means to you? What He did for you? You feel it,you live it,you breathe it . Peace and God bless to you. May you always stay the course.( I like/ marvel at Nicky Cruz also.With his humor he may not be the "ideal" of what one expects a Christian to be,but oh...it is real! Knowing what God has done for you no man can take away. Hallelujah.)

As the word of God as in John 3:16, as well as in 2TIMOTHY 3:15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scripture which are able to make you wise for Salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, Therefore Jesus come to this world to save humanity, as in Romans 1:16-17, I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the Salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew then for the Gentile. As s Apostle Peter preach Salvation as in Acts 2:38 Peter replied, repent and be baptised everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. So everyone needs to repent confess, acknowledge Jesus Christ done on the Cross, invite in your heart and accept him as Lord and Savior. And he gave us seal as in 2 Corinthians 1:22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. To God be the Glory

I’m declare my freedom from all fear and anxiety and worry, and asking God to forgive me about my unbelief and doubts that I could be free that is gonna take more than I’ve got in myself to do it, really need prayer for Carter about his deliverance and I’m believing the same
