It's just caused by him holding onto the handle bars a bit too heavily, and accelerating hard lifting the weight off the front, so it starts to shake around. Not his fault, it's a bit of a design flaw with the bike. You don't get much grip with your legs squeezing, and there's no backrest so your only option is to squeeze hard.

A better set of suspension springs will get it way better that’s is certain, further than that was a great bike lots of fun just the supermoto upright position doesn’t make it ideal on high speeds, great fun though.

@@ChefGk5-11 I've now got the gen 1, and luckily the previous owner put Andreani Misano Evo front fork cartridges in. The wobbles don't really start until 200kmh+ but at that point it's because the bike is a naked so of course it won't be as aerodynamic as a R1

@@BlackSlimShady well said my friend, I believe this bikes are meant to be driven like supermoto after 200 you have no air cover, not much weight on the front is a combination of many that we lose stability at the top end. No matter what drive safe and enjoy the moment ✌️

G'day Guy, I have an '02 TDM 900 and I used to ride like you on occasion, but I've grown up a little... Sadly my 160,000km bike is starting to show it's age with random electrical gremlins so this weekend I buy my second TDM, a late model with very low kms. It should keep me amused for a few years :) Please keep it shiny side up mate! By the way where is this road?

Hello mate. You can't go wrong with TDM they last forever. Is down south Australia a common mountain road if the wind bring you close I will take there. Ride safe 😉 good luck with the new Bike. Be always well cheers

@@ChefGk5-11 Thanks for that. My mother's family came from the Flinders district and later Adelaide and the hills, so I know a bit of the area. Rode the 'new' bike (26,000km) back from Port Macquarie through some of the best roads in central NSW to Blue Mountains and had a ball on the Putty road! Feels like a new one :)

South australia on the hills. Beautiful place but dangerous because of the wild life around.
